The UWC Scholar-Mentor Program Definitions

  • Scholar- a student or recent graduate who wants to learn from her Mentor about topics of her interests and needs
  • Mentor- a UWC Member who guides a Scholar in learning more about our program’s themes to enhance her goals
  • Consultant- a UWC Member who does not have time/desire to be a Mentor but wants to share her knowledge/skills/interests
  • Donor-a UWC Member who is willing to contribute money or supplies to this program

  • Almost 30% are willing to serve as Mentors and another almost 30% favor the idea or want more information.
  • No one opposed the idea of the program.
