July 2013- Montana was awarded the American Federation of Teachers Innovations Grant.

MEA-MFT(now MFPE) and the Montana Digital Academy (MTDA) partnered with the OPI to design a mechanism by which PD could be delivered to Montana Educators.

The Hub started with 4 courses and 100 users. Currently we have over 100 courses and 1,000s of participants earning units for their professional development programs and licensure.

This allowed for the creation of the Montana Digital Professional Learning Network (MDPLN)

At the conclusion of the grant in 2015, the MDPLN was transformed into the Teacher Learning Hub.

In July of 2023, the Hub will be getting a Moodle update so it will have a new look!

PDus transfer to TeachMT account

The PDUs you earned should automatically be transferred to your TeachMT account. We have had some glitches, so you might need to upload your completion certificate in some cases. Thank you for your patience as we work out the kinks in the system!

Complete Hub Course

Once you have completed all course requirements, which includes filling out the course evaluation. Your PDU (formerly called renewal unit) certificate will unlock.

Earn PDus (Professional Development units)

After you have earned the certificate, we highly recommend you download/print out a copy for your records. You will have 120 days from the day you completed the course to accomplish this task. Please sign and date the certificate, retain it for your records, in case of an audit of renewal applications.
