starstyling is dedicated to critical reflections and visual reflection of trends and society. That finds expression in subtle irony,surprise and playing with the elements of
contemporary fashion. It`s good doing it and it`s good wearing it.
starstyling is prosa on fashion and critics in cotton.
WHAT WE DO:
our clothes embody love and hate, color and sex, consumption and self-awareness, esprit and suspicion. Mostly on t-shirts and sweaters, printed and stitched, with graphics and text art.
as well cross art and its reflections, for example tablecloths, socks, magazines or confetti made out of italian vogue or genuine leather.
starstyling is truly original self-made quality thinking.

starstyling was found in 1999 and is composed of 5 lines: ladieswear, menswear, kidswear, accessories and homewear. The unique brand is an inherent part of the German fashion industry and is commonly known as a pioneer for the creative Berlin scene.
starstyling is dedicated to critical reflection and the observation of society trends, which finds expression in a subtle irony and the interaction of the elements in contemporary fashion. starstyling is prose on fashion and criticism in cotton. The design and print production of starstyling´s unique styles, happens manually in the Berlin based studio.
starstyling is made in the EU.

Katja Schlegel is a Custom & Stage Designer studied at Kunsthochschule in Stuttgart, Germany and had always dreamed of having her own clothing line since she was 5 years old. Kai Seifried is multiple educated as Screenprinter, Drummer, TV cutter and studied Communication Sciences at University Hohenheim in Stuttgart,Germany.
The couple met in 1993 and started to work together as Art Department Team for Film & Advertisement. In 1999 they founded the label „starstyling“ named after a combination from pizza delivery box (star-pizza) and their job as "stylists" : starstyling. Since 2003 they run their own Flagship Store and atelier production in Berlin. The brand developed fast to a worldwide secret tip for all kind of creative peoples.

The retailer's eponymous line of activewear-inspired pieces features geometric prints, metallic embellishments, and crazy-bright colors; it’s basically about as far from minimal as you can get. Swing by the Mulackstrasse shop to stock up on oversized T-shirts shimmering with holographic scales, slouchy leggings glittering with multicolored polka dots, and primary-colored visors with giant wraparound eye shades. It’s a pretty outrageous offering, sure, but even those who prefer tailored basics in neutral hues will appreciate this place: With its silver-papered walls, purple lights, and futuristic spaceship-meets-nu rave vibe, it's one of the most cheerful shops in town.
