Here are just a few UI/visual design samples of my past works, along with what I’ve been doing on the side. With many years in the creative and tech industries, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse group of companies and clients. I’ve spent time working with IoT data, accessibility and inclusion, augmented reality, e-commerce, and even expanded a startup. What really excites me is understanding people’s needs, solving problems, and learning voraciously as much as possible. When partnered with my personable and empathetic ethics, my specialty in visual works and storytelling, and my dedication to impact users’ experiences, I can rapidly spearhead and fine tune humane, inclusive, transparent designs into finished, working results.

I believe in strong communication and user-centered design. The success of any project comes down to how well the team connects and collaborates on shared goals.

I welcome the opportunity to discuss further about myself, in addition to what else I have to offer and join forces together. Thank you!

HELLO AND NICE TO MEET YOU! 👋🏼

I’M JENNIFER!

PAST WORK

Targeted Grain Management (TGM) is in the business of helping growers and others in the grain supply chain preserve and condition bulk grain by means of aeration. This is accomplished by means of The TGM System — a platform of machines that monitors and controls grain storages/bin sites as well as the weather surrounding the contents of the storage.

Pintour was a public art installation and a series of audio walks successfully backed on Kickstarter to promote Claire Trevor School of the Arts and its departments located within the University of California, Irvine campus. The walks use non-traditional storytelling to create informative and immersive adventures. Five giant map pins serve as guideposts, each designated by its own color and accompanied with a set of various audio walks.

The UP Lab Café was a pop-up shop and coffee delivery service providing quality beverages during the late hours. Part of The UP Lab, a blog devoted to empowering college students, its mission was to help maximize students' study efficiency and focus by saving them the time and trip to their local coffeeshop.

I helped on feedback and surveys on how to further improve on service and overall experience. Working with a group of like-minded friends, ideas and strategies bounced around nicely. Lessons were learned, different approaches were made, and goals were met—a project well-brewed.
