Scripture Reading

1 John 4:7–12

33 of 72

1 John 4:7–12

7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

34 of 72

1 John 4:7–12

11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

Worshiping God through Tithes and Offerings

36 of 72

37 of 72

I’ve heard a thousand storiesOf what they think You’re likeBut I’ve heard the tender whisperOf love in the dead of nightYou tell me that You’re pleasedAnd that I’m never alone

38 of 72

You’re a Good Good FatherIt’s who You areIt’s who You areIt’s who You areAnd I’m loved by YouIt’s who I amIt’s who I amIt’s who I am

39 of 72

I’ve seen many searching

For answers far and wideBut I know we’re all searching

For answers only You provideBecause You know just what we

needBefore we say a word

40 of 72

You’re a Good Good FatherIt’s who You areIt’s who You areIt’s who You areAnd I’m loved by YouIt’s who I amIt’s who I amIt’s who I am

41 of 72

You are perfect

in all of Your waysYou are perfect

in all of Your waysYou are perfect

in all of Your ways

To us

42 of 72

Love so undeniable

I can hardly speakPeace so unexplainable

I can hardly thinkAs You call me deeper stillAs You call me deeper stillAs You call me deeper stillInto love love love

43 of 72

You’re a Good Good FatherIt’s who You areIt’s who You areIt’s who You areAnd I’m loved by YouIt’s who I amIt’s who I amIt’s who I am

Application

  1. Easter Week: ponder anew what great love God has demonstrated to us.
  2. Demonstrate love for others in active ways. Diagnose what is hampering it, take it to the Lord in prayer.

Beneath the Cross

62 of 72

Beneath the cross of JesusI find a place to standAnd wonder at such mercyThat calls me as I am

dreamsNow one through grace alone

Beneath the cross of JesusThe path before the crownWe follow in His footstepsWhere promised hope is found
