  • Be integrated
  • Have all deadlines in one place
  • Have a place to record longer-term ideas
  • Have a place to record longer-term to-dos

Keys to your Weekly Round Up

You Look Back

  • What didn’t happen this week that needs to get moved to next week?
  • What meetings did I have this week and what action steps came out of them that need to happen next week?
  • What emails aren’t closed out that I need to respond to next week?

You Look Ahead

  • What are my priorities and are they on the calendar?
  • Do I need to prep for anything next week?
  • Do I have a good estimate of how long my tasks will take?
  • 2-3 weeks out: anything coming up that you need to act on this week?

Make the Calendar:

  • Based on your look back and ahead, move around or delete any appointments or work
  • Add things to your calendar that aren’t there (like tasks, appointments, etc.)
  • Check: Do I have enough breathing room to be flexible?
