Sampling Scheme
with Multiple Lot Size
This presentation does the following:
Create MIC
Z
Quantitative Characteristics
Released Status SET
Complete Copy Model (not referenced)
Result Recording for each sample to be entered
Sample Procedure to be entered in Material Spec or Inspection Plan
Tolerance is
90 - 110
2. Create Sampling Scheme
Create Sampling Scheme Z
Normal Severity
line 1
PO lot size 1 -100
Sample size is 5
Up to 1 defect is OK
2 and above defect is NG
line 2
PO lot size 101 - 1000
Sample size is 10
Up to 2 defect is OK
3 and above defect is NG
line 3
PO lot size 1001 - 10000000000
Sample size is 30
Up to 5 defect is OK
6 and above defect is NG
The maximum lot size is
10,000,000,000 (else a warning issued when saving Sampling Scheme) As any PO beyond this Lot Size will not have Sampling Determination.
3. Create Sampling Procedure
Create Sampling Procedure Z
Sampling Type
Sampling Scheme
Valuation Mode Attribute Inspection Non Conformity Units
Assign Sampling Scheme created in Step 2
Assign Normal Inspection Severity as per setup in the Sampling Scheme Lot Size Table
When Saving, no need to add relationship (which is if using DMR)
4. Setup Inspection Type for GR to PO for a Material Master
Activate Inspection Type 01
Use Material Specification
5. Create Material Specification
Create Material Specification for Material Z
Assign Master Inspection Characteristics created in Step 1
Assign Sampling Procedure created in Step 3
6. Simulation
Simulate with a PO of 500 pcs
For the PO for 500 will fall in this range
101 - 1000
with sample size of 10
GR to the PO
Inspection Lot Created
Inspection Lot
is REL (Released)
is CALC (Sample Calculated)
Sample Size is 10
Only 3 and above defect is considered Defect Insp.Lot
Only 3 and above defect is considered Defect Insp.Lot
