Cabaret

The MHS Cabaret is essentially a talent show with performances in December and April. Students who put together musical acts are welcome to join the Cabaret. The Milton High School Color Guard are performers who incorporate choreographed dance and drill routines with various equipment to enhance and interpret the music of the marching band. The color guard performs with the marching band at football games and competes in marching band competitions during the fall. The color guard also performs at parades and exhibitions. The color guard practices weekly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:00 am in the Copeland Field House. A one-week band camp is also required in the summer. Milton High School offers 10 sports during the fall season, with 25 levels of participation. Tryouts for Football start the 3rd Friday in August and all other sports start the following Monday. Most teams end league competition in late October. Tournament qualifications for varsity teams could have teams participating into November, and for Football, early December. Football concludes its regular season on Thanksgiving Day. All fall sports make “cuts” depending on the number of students trying out except Football and B/G Cross Country.

Milton High School offers 9 sports during the winter season, with 21 levels of participation. Tryouts begin on the Monday after Thanksgiving, with most teams ending league competition before the February vacation. Tournament qualifications for varsity teams could have teams participating into mid-March. Varsity Teams should expect to have games or practices over December and February Vacation. All winter sports make “cuts” depending on the number of students trying out except Ski, Wrestling and B/G Indoor Track.

Milton High School offers 12 sports during the spring season, with 23 levels of participation. Tryouts begin on the third Monday in March with most teams ending league competition before June 1st.
