Why should I transfer a project

To keep a project you care about without losing it due to the platform integration
Projects created with the previous version will not move over automatically.
Transfer it to a personal or parent Lovable account gives you editable copy after the switch.

Step 1

Log in to Lovable account with the old credentials

With the username and password you created and used before

Step 2

Open the project you want to keep

Do it one by one if you have several

Step 3

Share project to personal Lovable account

Invite your personal or a parent’s Lovable account to the project

Step 4

Transfer ownership of Workspace

Go to Workspace and invite member

Step 5

Grant Owner role to the added account

Add the invited account as owner by changing their role from editor to Owner

Confirm from the personal account

Log into your personal Lovable account, where extra workspace with the project is shown

How can two students work on the same Lovable project?

Student 1

Open the project�Student 1 opens their project in Lovable.�
Copy the project URL�Student 1 copies the full URL from the browser address bar.�
Send the link to Student 2�Student 1 shares the link with their partner through chat, email, or LMS.

Request edit access
Student 2 opens the link while logged into their own Lovable account.
A prompt appears asking to request access.
Student 2 selects Request access and selects Editor.

Student 1

Approve the request
Student 1 receives a notification in Lovable.
Student 1 clicks the notification and accepts the edit request.

Both students can now edit�After approval, both students can work on the same project at the same time using their own accounts and credits.

Using a Partner’s Credits by Transferring the Project to Their Workspace

When to use this

If Student 1 has run out of credits and needs to continue working using Student 2’s credits.

Student 2

Invite Student 1 to their workspace

Student 2 clicks their avatar.
Go to Settings → People.
Click Invite members.
Enter Student 1’s Lovable email:
hourofai+[username]@imagilabs.com

Student 1

Accept the workspace invite
Student 1 receives a notification in Lovable.
Student 1 clicks the notification and accepts the workspace invitation.
Transfers the project
Student 1 opens the project.
Go to Project Settings.
Scroll to Transfer project.
Select Student 2’s workspace.
Click Confirm transfer.

Continue working

The project now lives in Student 2’s workspace. All new prompts use Student 2’s credits.

If Students Cannot Log In

Please check the following:

They are using one of the approved login links
https://lovable.dev/login/temp?event=hourofai&host=imagilabs.com
https://lovable.dev/login/temp

(Students should not use the standard Lovable login on https://lovable.dev/, which requires an email address.)

They selected the correct Hour of AI (imagi) event (if accessing through short link)

Username + password they entered are exactly as shown

(Please note! Username and password are case sensitive!)

If Credentials Still Don’t Work (1/2)

You can generate new credentials in imagi Edu by following these steps:

Select the student by clicking on their name.
Click “Request New Credentials”.

If Credentials Still Don’t Work (2/2)

If you reach the reset limit, imagi Edu will show an error with a built-in email prompt. Use it to contact support for account assistance.

(Please note! Requesting new credentials generates a new set of credentials (entirely new account), if a student wants to access the previous account, please reach out to support@imagilabs.com
