Sexual relationships: hormones, emotions and one-night stands.
STARTER:
Challenge:
Do you think this relationship is likely to work out? Why / why not?
Super challenge: Explain what you would say to Kylie if you were her friend and why you would give this advice.
Kylie had an amazing night last night. She feels that she met the woman of her dreams. Kylie was quite drunk and she went back to her house and slept with her. She told her she was beautiful. She is on the bus now, wondering whether her name would go well with her surname.
Task
We will now find out more
about one-night stands
and ‘hook-ups’, the problems
and issues we need to be
aware of, how we can stay
safe and how these can
be problematic emotionally.
READING ALOUD OPPORTUNITY
Let’s have some volunteer
readers. Those who volunteer
will be going to break first today.
You will then complete the
task at your challenge level
and we’ll discuss the answers together.
