The PLC Plan

Job Alike & Dept PLCs: (1st/2nd/4th Wednesday) DuFour’s PLC centered on the implementation of content (the “How”).

  • Meet in Library (When Needed) and then work where is best for PLC in building

  • Use PLC Analysis Form or create a form that works for your PLC. Make sure to: as long as it is
  • Share with your evaluator
  • Has the “How” of implementation of a strategy based on student data (Ideally CM strategy)
  • Measure the effectiveness using student data/observational data (Can be a focus group of students)

Feedback and Foundation

  • Work with a coach. Example: PLC (one Wednesday) a group cycle an individual cycle (no forms you need to turn in) - Tier 1 decision point

  • Shared Foundation - Equity PD - 3rd Wed.

  • Four peer observations - due by end of the year around CM strategies.
    • You can get a half-day sub or timesheet if you use planning time (no other forms you need to turn). - Tier 1 decision point
