Tools Available for Member Use

The Tellico Village Woodworkers Club, its officers and members shall not be held liable for any injury to participants at Club functions or activities.

Members assume full responsibility for their own personal risk of injury when using Club &/or member woodworking equipment. A current, signed Liability Waiver is required prior to using Club tools.

To borrow, or use the available tools, refer to the “Tools Available to Members” section of the Club Website for “Keeper” contact information.

Contact the “Keeper” to arrange borrowing, or to schedule supervised tool use in the Keeper’s shop.

When scheduling use of equipment, Member is responsible for finding out and obtaining recommended Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

Tools Available for Member Use

Grizzly Industrial 10” Industrial Table Saw has an out-feed table (when not filled with another project) as well as an infeed table (workbench in front of the saw.

Crosscut sled available.

Fence has rollers that can be installed to keep rip cuts along the fence.

Blade guard for less experienced users.

Users should bring their own required Hearing protection, Safety Glasses and Dust masks.

Various 10” blades available (rip, cross-cut, general purpose and dado).

It does a great job sharpening certain workshop tools, especially chisels, turning tools, and carving tools.  It can be used in Keeper’s shop, or a club member can borrow it and use it in their own shop.  It is a very safe tool to use. Follow Tool Safety Instructions, including Eye protection.
