Establishing Norms

  • Get into your groups
  • Discuss as a group, and develop and articulate 2 learning expectations/norms that help you: focus/concentrate/have a safe space for learning
  • Send 1 representative from your group to write your rules on the butcher paper

  • Goal: self-reflect on how to improve co-teaching practice & take steps towards a common goal

Station Question Instructions

  • Go to each station with your group
  • 3 minutes at each station
  • Answer the questions on the poster
  • Rotate to next station after 3 minutes
  • Can have discussions, but be mindful of people trying to think through questions

Gallery Walk Instructions

  • Go to each station individually and silently for 8 minutes
  • Take notes on graphic organizer on:
    • What you found interesting
    • Good ideas
  • Reconvene with co-teaching partner, sit with co-teaching partner for next activity

  • Definition: One teacher has primary responsibility while the other gathers specific observational information on students
