Attendance Policy
Attendance
Do your best to come to every class.
Each absent HOUR will result in a 1% deduction of the final grade.
15 unexcused hours will result in a failure (F).
Being LATE
Late is coming after the class begins.
Coming to class 1 minute or 15 minutes late is 0.5%.
You get one FREE late.
Every tardy thereafter will result in a deduction of 0.5%.
Attendance Exceptions
Exceptions will be made for bona fide reasons with documentation.
Example: a death in the family,
military service,
an emergency hospital visit
Womanly Absence
These kinds of absences due to any womanly problems will NOT be accepted.
Medical documentation showing a hospital diagnosis may be accepted case-by-case.
Keep Track of Your Attendance
Email me if your attendance needs adjustments within ONE week.
The one-week window is strict and non-negotiable.
After this period, I cannot guarantee resolution.
I will not rely on retrospective discussions or memory.
Documentation
The only exception to this rule is if the documentation is contingent on time limitations by a company or etc.
Please send any documentation or evidence that supports your attendance status via email to both ME and MY TA within 1 week.
Excused Absences
Please try to contact me by email or Kakao BEFORE class.
Excused Absence Homework Policy
All homework assignments must be turned in the NEXT class without penalty.
You are responsible for completing your homework.
Perfect Attendance
Extra credit (1-2%)
If you use your grace tardy, this does not apply.
