CHECK YOUR SCHEDULES FOR BOTH THE FIRST AND SECOND SEMESTER AND ENSURE WITH YOUR GUIDANCE COUNSELOR YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR ENOUGH COURSES INITIALLY.

DROPPING A COURSE OR ADDING A COURSE LATE COULD RESULT IN INELIGIBILITY. ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR GUIDANCE COUNSELOR KNOWS YOU ARE A PROSPECTIVE STUDENT ATHLETE WHEN SCHEDULING YOUR COURSES.

CCP Students & Athletic Eligibility

  • Students taking partial or full schedules at a Post Secondary Institution (LCCC, etc.) must maintain the same eligibility standards and all courses taken must count towards HS graduation.
  • Students taking ALL coursework at a Post Secondary institution must be considered full time students at the institution.
  • NEW IN 2023: Post Secondary students no longer need to submit a progress report to the athletic office at the end of each HIGH SCHOOL grading period. We now only need their grades at the end of their college semester. We encourage parents and coaches to monitor student grades in the meantime to avoid any “surprises”.
  • In order for a class to count, it must be added prior to the start of the semester and they must be continuously enrolled in the course. If a course is dropped, or added late, they could risk ineligibility due to insufficient credits.
