The truth in today’s world is that you can buy anything, everywhere - on websites, apps, WhatsApp, and in stores - yet customers still feel disconnected from the shopping process. Retail, as we know it, seems disorganized. A person may see a product online, but when they go to the store, they have to search all over again from the beginning. Store sales employees are unable to keep track of each shopper’s preferences or past purchases, while brands spend huge amounts on marketing and still lose buyers. This gap between online and offline experiences causes frustration for customers and loss of revenue for businesses.

To study these challenges more closely, we conducted a short survey through Google Forms among 27 teenagers and young shoppers to discover their biggest shopping pain points. Most respondents said they shop both online and in-store but find the experiences disconnected. The most common complaints were unavailability of the right size, lack of staff, and long billing queues. Many also expressed that they had liked a product online but couldn’t find it in-store later. About 80% said they would be happy to use a smart chatbot or screen that could help them check stock, apply offers, or find matching outfits as long as it’s easy to use.

Additionally, we visited three to four ABFRL stores, including Pantaloons and Van Heusen, and spoke directly with store managers and sales associates about the challenges they face. They mentioned that checking stock takes time, remembering customer preferences is difficult, and the lack of digital support often leads to missed sales. These insights made it clear that there is a strong need for one intelligent, supportive AI solution that harmonizes every part of the retail journey from browsing to buying & making shopping smoother for customers and work easier for staff.

It brings together customers, stores, and digital platforms so the shopping experience feels smooth and connected. Whether you’re chatting on WhatsApp, browsing a website, or using a store kiosk, the conversation picks up right where you left off. Setu AI remembers your preferences, suggests outfits that match your style, and checks what’s in stock nearby like a personal sales assistant who never forgets.

Behind the scenes, a team of Worker Agents keep everything running. The Recommendation Agent finds products you’ll actually like, the Inventory Agent checks real-time stock, and the Payment Agent handles payments safely. The Fulfillment Agent arranges deliveries or in-store pickups, while the Loyalty and Offers Agent applies deals automatically. Finally, the Post-Purchase Agent takes care of returns and feedback.

Together, they guide you from browsing to checkout - and even after. With Virtual Try-On, you can preview outfits before buying, saving time and boosting confidence. For retailers, Setu AI means more sales, less manual work, and happier customers. In the end, Setu AI becomes the friendly bridge connecting people and brands making shopping smarter, faster, and more personal.
