Circulation Access Study
For the last two years the District has worked with the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (SCCRTC), California Department of Transportation (CalTrans), the Santa Cruz County Department of Public Works, and the Santa Cruz Metropolitan Transit District to improve the circulation within the SLV Tri-Campus and Hwy 9. In December 2021 an MOU was created with all parties to work together in cooperation to develop a circulation and access study for the San Lorenzo Valley School Tri-Campus, completing the environmental documents and project approvals as necessary, final design, right-of-way, and construction project components.
As part of the MOU, SCCRTC and SLVUSD have entered into a cooperative agreement to complete an Access Study. SCCRTC put out a Request for Proposal (RFP) and hired Mark Thomas Company to complete the San Lorenzo Valley School Complex, Circulation and Access Study.
