Making Frame by Frame Animations With Google Slides
Let’s make a monster
Here are some examples...
Select a BODY
Copy it from my slide(ctrl-c)
Paste it into your slide (ctrl - v)
You can also choose one for a HEAD

Click and drag on the corners to resize the image
Click and drag on the sides to make the image wider or narrower
Click and drag the blue dot to rotate the image

Now let’s make your monster move
Duplicate your first slide
(right click on the slide and select “duplicate slide”)

Make a small change to image in the new slide. Duplicate this side.

Keep making small changes to each new slide.
Duplicate the slide and repeat.
Keep going!

When you move quickly through the slides it will appear as if your monster is moving!

You can copy and paste slides. Click on the slide and hit ctrl-c to copy then hit ctrl-v to paste.
Change the order of the slides by clicking and dragging.
Try copying and pasting images from past slides into new slides

Publish Your Animation to the Web
Select File and then Publish to the web
This gives you the screen that you see to the right
Select Embed
Choose the slide size
Select every second for auto-advance slides
Check the start slideshow box
Check the Restart the slideshow box
Check the Require Viewers box
Copy the link in the box and paste it in a document for your future viewing
This is a link to an animation I created
Do you see this number? Originally it was 1000. That means 1000 milliseconds or one frame per second. That’s to slow. I changed it to 0084 because that is about the same as 12 frames per second which is about the speed of a saturday morning cartoon.
