Weathering Erosion
Breaking down of rocks into smaller pieces.
When wind or water carries rocks and soil to a new place
Strong winds broke off bits of sand overtime.
The water and chalk broke the chalk into smaller pieces.
The water is brown and flowing. It carries soil away from the land.
It took many years for the river to carry away bits of land. The erosion on page 18 happened quickly.
Weathering and erosion caused this change. The water carried away pieces of sand and rock.
