Only California public, state schools use the A-G requirements. Private or out of state colleges each have their own admission requirements

“A” History/Social Science
(2 Years Required)

Must be two years of the same language

One year of an approved arts course from a single discipline: Theater, Music or Visual Arts
Examples: Digital Media 1 & Photo 1

“F” Visual and Performing Art (VPA)

One year chosen from the “A-F” courses beyond those used to satisfy the requirements above
Examples: AP Psychology 1-2, Writing Seminar 1-2, Veterinary Science 1-2, College Algebra 1-2, ect.
“G” College Preparatory Elective

Important Reminders
Grades must be a C or better
CSU and UC calculate GPA based on 10th and 11th grades, but 9th grade still matters!
