  • Required high school course work
  • Grades of C or better

Only California public, state schools use the A-G requirements. Private or out of state colleges each have their own admission requirements

One year chosen from the “A-F” courses beyond those used to satisfy the requirements above

Examples: AP Psychology 1-2, Writing Seminar 1-2, Veterinary Science 1-2, College Algebra 1-2, ect.

Important Reminders

Grades must be a C or better

CSU and UC calculate GPA based on 10th and 11th grades, but 9th grade still matters!
