Business example

For specific storage types in the warehouse, it might be necessary to move the goods via an interim storage type (beyond the GR-Area), for example “an elevator Area” to move from one floor to another floor.

In our example, the new interim storage type is 0071 before moving into final storage type 0070

Process-Oriented Storage Control/Putaway Completed

This indicator is evaluated in connection with process-oriented storage control. It ends process-oriented storage control during the putaway process. It completes the warehouse request with regards to the putaway process. The actual quantity put away is written to the document flow of the warehouse request.

Only use this indicator for the storage type that should be the final putaway location for the product.
