Extension and Community Outreach
In 2025, the University’s Extension and Community Outreach engagements figure remains significantly higher than the 51 partnerships recorded in 2020, representing an overall increase of approximately 75% over the six-year period. These formal partnerships provide an important mechanism for connecting the University with government agencies, industry, academic institutions, communities, and other organizations, thereby expanding opportunities for knowledge exchange, student and faculty development, experiential learning, and collaborative programs. Through these sustained partnerships, PUP strengthens the enabling environment for inclusive, equitable, quality education and lifelong learning opportunities, reinforcing its contribution to SDG 4 and demonstrating the importance of collaboration in achieving educational goals.
