Post-Lab Requirements for lab 3A

  • Plot the displacement vs. mass of the mass-spring system. Include axis labels, title, units, best-fit line

  • Calculate the spring constant of your spring, including uncertainty and units. Also record the mass of your Arduino setup here

  • Include your plot of distance vs. time oscillations obtained from the bouncing Arduino’s ultrasonic sensor. Include title, axis labels, units

  • Include your plot of relative acceleration vs. time oscillations obtained from the bouncing Arduino’s accelerometer. Include title, axis labels, units

  • Plot 3-4 oscillations of position vs. time with its best-fit. Be sure to include a title, axis labels, and a legend
  • Compare your resulting angular frequency to the expected angular frequency based on your spring constant from lab 3A
  • Plot 3-4 oscillations of acceleration (from accelerometer output) vs. time with its best-fit. Be sure to include a title, axis labels, and a legend
  • Plot 3-4 oscillations of acceleration best-fit (from accelerometer output), numerically differentiated position, and theoretically differentiated position. Be sure to include a title, axis labels, and a legend

  • You must submit one document for your group on Gradescope
