What is Social Media?

“Social Media is any form of online

publication or presence that allows

interactive communication”, including, but not limited to, blogs, wikis, chats, discussion forums, social networks and sharing sites.

Some examples are Wordpress, KidBlog, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Kik, Tumblr, Edmodo, YouTube, Vine, Google+, Snapchat, Flickr ... and there are many, many more.
