Which is different from:

How to write a communications strategy

Telling people about strategic information (which is information that guides long-term direction and decisions, which achieve overarching goals and objectives)

Creating a plan about how to communicate information (which may not itself be strategic)

Strategic Priorities Areas

21 of 22

Programme social media campaign

  • Three posts related to the new Scientific Programme were published

  • Future plan: a campaign of six to seven posts on scientific priority areas and strategic priorities areas.

Update on ELIXIR social media - Mastodon trial

  • 31 posts have been posted and has accumulated 113 followers.
  • Mastodon flaws:
  • It doesn’t provide a comprehensive analytics like LinkedIn and Twitter/X.
  • It doesn’t have the scheduling function.
  • Engagement comparison:
  • ELIXIR will keep the Mastodon account and keep cross-posting suitable content, but will not invest more in setting up a server.
