Biodiversity at RSPB Arne

On Saturday 23rd May it was the UN's International Day for Biological Diversity - join RSPB Arne in celebrating the unique and diverse habitat of heathlands.

Sadly, some local heathland habitats have also been devastated by fire.

Let’s raise awareness of the creatures that live in our heathlands by finding out more about them. Perhaps you could draw a picture or make a poster about one of them.

If you are going out and about, remember how to keep safe and protect the wildlife!

Stick Man, Stick Lady and the stick children three have been very busy during lockdown! As you can see they are doing their Joe Wicks work out in this picture.

Stickman gets used for lots of different things in the story - A hook for a bag, an arm for a snowman, a stick for a flag…

What else can you use a stick for? How many different uses can you think of?
