Proof of Vaccination Protocols

“Effective October 1, 2021, an employee must have on file with the District’s Human Resources office proof that the employee is fully vaccinated, in such format as is required by the District…”

  • Full vaccinated means 1 shot of Johnson and Johnson or 2 shots of Pfizer/Moderna

  • This requirement is currently in place. Employees may upload their proof of vaccination through the MyCompton portal tile:

Exemption Procedures

  • “A current District employee may submit a written statement from a healthcare provider requesting an exemption from the vaccine requirement due to the person’s qualifying disability or bonafide medical reason.”

  • “A current District employee may request an exemption based on a sincerely held religious belief.”

  • Decisions to approve or deny exemption requests shall be made by the District within thirty (30) calendar days from the date on which the exemption request was filed.

Safe Harbor for Vaccinations

Safe Harbor for Vaccinations in Progress as of October 1, 2021.

“In the event an employee is not fully vaccinated, but has received their first vaccine dose by October 1, 2021, the employee shall provide the District with documentation of their vaccination progress, and may request an accommodation until fully vaccinated, which shall occur no later than November 15, 2021.”

Paid Leave provisions after SB 95

The District agrees that it will continue to provide the following supplemental paid sick leave to Unit employees who satisfy the following conditions:

  1. are attending an appointment to receive a vaccine for protection against contracting COVID-19 (not to exceed two hours per dose).

  • are experiencing symptoms related to a COVID-19 vaccine or break-through COVID-19 symptoms that prevent the employee from being able to work or telework.

  • are caring for a child whose school or place of child care is closed or otherwise unavailable due to reasons related to COVID-19 on the premises, governmental order, etc.

Pandemic Relief Bonus and Vaccination Incentive $$

What the District is Proposing

Vaccination Incentive:

Upon submitting proof of fully vaccinated status to the District on or before November 15, 2021, any full or part-time employee shall receive a one-time vaccination incentive of $250.

Pandemic Relief Bonus:

Full and part-time unit members working on-campus during the fall 2021 term shall receive $250 as a Pandemic Relief Bonus.

What CCCFE is Proposing

Vaccination Incentive:

Upon submitting proof of fully vaccinated status to the District on or before November 15, 2021, any full or part-time employee shall receive a one-time vaccination incentive of $2,500.

Pandemic Relief Bonus:

Full and part-time unit members working during the fall 2021 term and spring 2022 term shall receive $2,500 as a Pandemic Relief Bonus for each semester worked.
