• According to California law, bullying online or in person are considered the same.
• You can get in trouble at school for what you do at home.
• Cyberbullying is wrong.

Another Scenario

Eric hears some kids in English laughing as he walks into class. He knows something is being said about him. He is upset and worried. He can’t focus in any of his classes and just wants to go home.

�In the class before lunch, he finds out that a bad photo of him was turned into a meme, and other kids from school were posting it on Instagram and Tumblr. People started posting different versions of it. Then, at lunch, someone sent it to him along with the text - “Our school’s biggest loser.”

�He gets a couple more comments from classmates after lunch. Once the school day is over, he rushes home, still unsure about what he could have done to deserve this treatment.
