Preparing For A Google Meet

  • Open all of the tabs you will need during a particular Google Meet session.
  • Check the brightness of your image on the screen to be sure the room is not too dark or there isn’t too much glare.
  • Avoid having a light source directly behind your head.
  • Check your background for distractions.
  • Do a test run with your sound to be sure that you can hear the volume on your computer and that other participants can hear you.
  • Consider using a pair of earbuds. The sound quality will be better for you and your voice will be clearer for the other Meet participants.
