To Michelle Beech, William Penn School District Science teacher on being selected as one of four science teachers to present at the National Science Teacher Association Conference in Atlanta Georgia this March. The team will be presenting "Climate Change and Urban Heat Islands. Where is the Equity? Should everyone share the responsibility?"

Congratulations to the WPSD Individual Winter DreamBox Grand-Prize Winners

• To all of our elementary students, teachers, and staff who have worked really hard over the last month on DreamBox to improve math skills
• 2,513 students participated, completing 70,008 lessons, averaging 5.8 lessons per week!
• Students and classes also completed 5 lessons each week to qualify for weekly incentives and grand prizes, contest winners are:

Park Lane Elementary School for winning the WPSD School-Wide DreamBox School Contest

• Finished with 74% of students qualifying with 5 lessons a week during the contest window.
• Park Lane will be taking home the DreamBox trophy as well as a school-wide trip to the Franklin Institute!

Guest Percussionist Aaron Draper visits Walnut Street

During band rehearsal students were honored with a visit from percussionist Aaron Draper, who is currently doing a residency with Adele in Las Vegas.
