Your General Backlink Profile Breakdown

The first chart analyzes your Do-follow and No-follow Ratio, representing the balance between endorsements (Do-follow links) that pass on link equity and links (No-follow) that don't pass link equity. This helps assess your authoritative endorsements in your website's backlink profile.

​

The second chart categorizes links as UGC (User-generated content), No-Follow, and Sponsored. All of these, don't really pass link equity ***, but still contribute to your traffic and visibility.

​

Examining the breakdown of UGC, No-Follow, and Sponsored links gives us insights into the diverse sources and types of backlinks. This helps us evaluate the link-building strategy, identify areas for improvement, and maintain a healthy and diverse backlink profile.

*** The general directive of No-follow which applies by default to UGC, and Sponsored can be ignored by Google sometimes if they deem it proper. Meaning, in principle, we can think of all No-Follow links as not an equity worth it, but Google might decide otherwise.
