We are home to 9 of the top 10 open source networking projects in the world backed by the majority of global network providers.

We are creating a portability layer for the cloud, driving standards and developing reference tools for cloud native development.

Our Automotive Grade Linux platform is backed by 12 automakers and is either in or slated for production in millions of vehicles worldwide.

We are creating a permanent, secure distributed ledger that makes it easier to create cost-efficient, decentralized business networks.

We are providing the application development framework for next generation web, mobile, serverless, and IoT applications.

Edge/Embedded

We are creating projects used in building the majority of embedded Linux distributions and rationalizing edge computing.

Microservices

We are creating a microservices ecosystem that helps quickly turn ideas into applications at scale, and solving problems of heterogeneous architecture, multi-cloud, multi-programing languages, digital transformation, and business growth.

Heterogeneous Architecture in Cloud Gaming

Edge computing machines can significantly improve the user experience by deploying cloud game servers on edge nodes. Reduce the delay of user operation feedback and improve the clarity and fluency of the picture.

The end-to-end interaction of the game is strong. The edge availability zone is connected to the nearest public network through the local operator line.

The server in the main node is accessed through the Central Cloud private network, effectively reducing the latency and enhancing the user experience.

At the same time, it can achieve multi-point disaster recovery on the public network's access side and reduce the bandwidth cost of the public network.

Smart City Water Service

The system can dynamically model and analyze the video based on the edge computing image algorithm and vision technology.

The scope of the supervised water area is obtained by scene semantic segmentation or user-defined way.

The system realizes intelligent water management from abnormal sewage discharge and river and water source supervision. By detecting and classifying the discharge port's video picture, we can judge whether there is sewage discharge behavior.

Through the target detection algorithm, we can get the real-time location of floating objects, people, and ships along the coast and in the water area, and analyze whether there is an intrusion or other prohibited behavior to grade an early warning and realize the efficient and dynamic management of water area supervision.

Protocol Compatibility for IoT Link and Communication

  • On the gateway. Based on the project, develops protocol access services according to the protocol layer, such as a serverless MQTT broker, and takes over the authentication, access, and management capabilities of all MQTT protocols.
  • Develop data analysis services according to the data structure of the corresponding IoT device, such as a serverless protocol stream decoder, to analyze the data structure of IoT and unify the data structure.
  • After the gateway completes the data unification and standardization, push the data to the edge server.
  • On the edge server, deploy processing services for specific data and deploy and manage them in microservices, such as serverless real-time alert service and serverless store to database service.
  • Deploy the app in the application layers on the edge server.
  • The North-South isolation from the bottom hardware to the upper software has been completed. It will avoid the impact of the modification on the top-level application when adding or modifying IoT devices.

Connect Gateway and Edge Server through a project from SIG-Edge to meet the low delay network capability of < 10ms within 300km.
