Emission reduction and fuel / energy optimization

• Emissions intensity: Emissions per unit of distance traveled or per unit of activity
• Avoided tailpipe emissions: Amount of CO2 avoided due to BEV / PHEV usage
• Total emissions (CO2): Tonnes or kilograms of CO2 emissions produced
• Fuel consumption per vehicle/fleet or EV energy economy for fleet/per vehicle: MPG or Liters/100 kms or L-e/100km

#Le/100km = Litres equivalent per 100km. �Natural Resources Canada uses this to express an EV's energy use in the same terms as a combustion vehicle, with a conversion of 8.9 kWh as the energy equivalent of one litre of gasoline
