Pupil Leadership Team

Each year the children vote for children in their class to represent them at Pupil Leadership meetings.

The Pupil Leadership team meet regularly with Mr Ross. They also meet with Mrs Fowler and Mrs Middleton to help make important decisions that affect the school. The team often support when we have important visitors in school.

We promote British Values in school through pupil voice.

UK Parliament Week

• We went to the polls for #UKParliamentWeek This was launched in Monday's assembly by the Pupil Leadership Team. In keeping with this year's message of 'Make A Difference', The Pupil Leadership team canvassed the views of the children in their classes on the things they thought would improve their school experience. From this, they shortlisted 6 options and the whole school got involved by voting for their choice at the 'polling station'! Ballots were secret and children could only vote the once (we learned that spoilt ballots don't count!)��The votes were then counted and verified and we are excited to announce that 'Outdoor Play Equipment' was the winning decision! The pupil leadership team will now be going back to their classes to create their wishlist for outdoor games!

Thank you to Stephen Morgan MP for visiting school to support our learning about UK Parliament for a special assembly. The children enjoyed learning about the role of an MP and were very keen to share their views on education and the environment with him too. The Pupil Leadership Team asked him questions on behalf of their peers and the Head Boy and Girl gave him a tour of the school afterwards.
