Each of our team members are diverse in skills, but we are united by art and the desire to empower under-resourced communities with a platform to explore STEM. We look for a opportunity to fulfill this purpose by combining art and technology.

Why

How

PURPOSE

Acknowledging marginalized groups’ the lack of STEM opportunities, our team decided to invoke their dim voices with the universal language of art, combined with a globally accessible website.

Seeing the beauty in those disrupted communities, we thought about bringing geography images to life on a public platform such as a website, thus proposing a unique insight of their world and gateway to STEM.

The website uses minimal words (especially home page) to allow everyone to enjoy the new kaleidoscope of their home.

To create the most immersive experience, we composed the website with both illustrations and music. Scrolling down, the galaxy panorama and the AI painting (Disco Diffusion) clash into a diffusion of STEAM.

WIth one teammate(Chuqiao)’s prior experience with AI, we immediately thought of Python Disco Diffusion v5.61 when we were conducting research. It was the exquisite blend of art and technology.
