Vision

At the Tony Clement Center for Education, students are empowered to realize their individual aspirations, goals, and potential for greatness.

Mission

The mission of the Tony Clement Center for Education is to provide students with a safe, nurturing, and supportive educational experience that is responsive to every student’s cultural, emotional, and social development. We ensure equity and access to rigorous and relevant learning opportunities through flexible, innovative programming. Through positive relationships and collaborative partnerships with our families, community, and each other, students will develop skills to become responsible citizens.

  • Fights in schools in the district and in the community
  • Threats and rumors on social media
  • Division of student groups

How Can You Be Part of the Solution?

  • Bring all safety concerns to a trusted adult
  • Know the difference between what is real and what is not (don’t know? ask)
  • Do not share things on social media that add to issues- stay positive
  • Treat everyone with kindness, and be fair.

  • You experienced something or saw something that made you feel uncomfortable or scared
  • You have information that could help

Be Part of the Solution:

In School:

  • Be Respectful, Responsible and Safe by:
    • Being in class on time
    • Remaining in class until the bell rings
    • Walking away from fights and arguments
    • Treating each other with kindness and respect

Out of School:

  • Be Respectful, Responsible and Safe by:
    • DO NOT go to AHS or any other school
      • Doing so could result in a consequence for trespassing
    • Be responsible with what you post on social media
    • Be kind to others
    • Walk away from fights and arguments

Be Part of the Solution:

Students:

  • Be in your assigned area
    • Being in class on time
    • Remaining in class until the bell rings
    • Remain in the Cafeteria or Quiet Lunch at lunchtime
    • Do not go to the gym at lunchtime unless you have a stamp on your points sheet
    • Have a pass when you are in the hall

Staff:

  • Please give students a pass whenever they are leaving your class
  • No passes issued for first 10 or last 10 minutes of class
  • Be at your classroom door during transitions to greet students and encourage them to enter the room, and provide supervision
  • SST members - Be in the hallways during transitions to support

You Represent TCCE both in and outside of school. We count on you to make good decisions as a representative of TCCE. Our community is full of kind and caring students who know right from wrong. Our actions must align with who we are. Think twice before acting. Do the right thing even when it is hard.
