CHAPTER 1: THE LORD SPEAKS TO EZRA

  • The Lord speaks to Ezra about the people’s sins, and tells him they need to be rebuked.

CHAPTER 2: EZRA SPEAKS

  • The Lord continues to speak to Ezra.
  • Eventually the Lord stops speaking and Ezra speaks. Initially he goes to the Jews but when they don’t listen he goes to the heathens and tells the about the coming Kingdom of God.
  • Ezra begins to question the Lord again.

CHAPTER 3: EZRA SPEAKS TO THE LORD

  • Ezra reminisces on his times in Babylon, and questions the Lord whether Babylon was more righteous then Zion? for why else would the Lord allow them to be exiled.
  • The Lord then questions Ezra testing his wisdom, for Ezra believes he should be able to understand the ways of the most high.

CHAPTER 4: THE LORD TESTS EZRA’S WISDOM

  • The Lord continues to test Ezra’s wisdom.

  • Ezra wonders when God’s kingdom will come.

  • The Lord speaks to Ezra about the end times, and creation.

  • The Lord describes that the path for the righteous is narrow.
  • The Lord talks about judgement day.
  • The Lord talks about how only a few are righteous.
  • The Lord warns of the coming of Christ.

CHAPTER 8: THE LORD AND EZRA

  • The Lord and Ezra speak about the unrighteous in the world.

CHAPTER 9: THE LORD AND EZRA

  • The Lord commands Ezra to stop asking about what will happen to the unrighteous.
  • Ezra runs into a woman who is in distress.

CHAPTER 10: EZRA AND THE WOMAN

  • Ezra asked the woman why she was in distress, and she tells him her son had died on his wedding day.
  • Ezra then reproaches her and tells her to get her self together and return to the city because we need good woman like her.
  • The woman suddenly turns into a city.
  • Ezra in confusion begs for the Lord to return. When the angel returns Ezra asks what is the meaning of this. The Lord tells Ezra the woman is a metaphor for the city of Jerusalem.

CHAPTER 11: EZRA AND THE EAGLE

  • Ezra speaks to an eagle whose wings figuratively represent the rulers of the world.
  • Then a Lion and confronts the Eagle rebuking it for its poor leadership.

CHAPTER 12: THE LORD PROPHESIZES

  • After awaking Ezra speaks to the Lord again, and the Lord prophesizes of a wicked kingdom that will rule

CHAPTER 13: THE SON OF GOD

  • Ezra sees a vision where a man comes from the sea and fights the wicked of the earth with miracles, and then after defeating them the rest of the people gather around him.
  • Ezra then wakes from his vision and asks the Lord what this meant. And the Lord replies it represents his Son who he will send to free the world.

CHAPTER 14: EZRA WRITES THE BIBLE

  • The Lord commands Ezra to write the Bible, but only reveal some of the books to the people, while keeping others hidden.
  • The Lord commands him to take 40 days to write the books, and to tell the people not to bother him for that time.

  • The Lord warns of his oncoming wrath.
