President-Elect **1PD ONLY**

  • Coordinates the Residency Showcase in the Fall
  • Performs the duties of the President in the President’s absence
  • Coordinates all food and refreshments for general body meetings
  • Develops knowledge and understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the President
  • Prepares goals and objectives in concert with the President and other officers, identifying areas to emphasize over the coming year
  • Monitors progress of committees and individuals in addressing issues identified and duties assigned in officer meetings
  • Develops knowledge of the bylaws, procedures, and policies of the Orlando Student Chapter of FSHP
  • Assumes other responsibilities as directed by the President
  • Succeeds to the office of President

Vice President **2PD ONLY**

  • Requirement:
    • 2PD with a previous officer or chair position (preferably with FSHP)
  • Work closely with the FSHP/CFSHP Liaisons and Clinical Skills Coordinators to plan the following events:
    • Fall: Clinical Skills Competition
    • Spring: Medication Error Competition
    • Continuous: Guest Speakers for General Meetings
  • Oversee the committees of FSHP Orlando student chapter along with President and President-Elect and help Keep Track of all Events Planned
  • Maintains professional contacts of organization
  • Assumes other responsibilities as directed by the President

Secretary

  • Takes and distributes minutes at all Officer/Chair Meetings and General Meetings
  • Submit weekly FSHP updates regarding events
    • Student council weekly org announcement emails, social media posts
  • Coordinates with the Treasurer to manage Student Membership
  • Reviews and submits all room requests, co-curricular approval requests, and other forms/documents as requested by the President
  • Adds event dates to the student org calendar
  • Ensures all chairs submit event logs with 72 hours of the event
  • Attends monthly Student Council meetings as FSHP representative in the absence of Membership Coordinator and reports back to the rest of the E-Board
  • Submit an article to the Student Council newsletter at the end of each semester
  • Completes Chapter Reporting rubric

Treasurer

  • Develop a budget for FSHP for the up and coming year and send information to Officers and Chairs
    • Budgets for general meetings and any major semester events
  • Work with the fundraising chairs to develop new fundraising opportunities
  • Maintain the FSHP bank account
  • Work with the Secretary to keep all FSHP membership documentation up-to-date and promote membership
  • Facilitate any reimbursements from the FSHP bank account
  • Produces monthly progress reports and posts to officer/chair Facebook page

Historian

  • Assist the Treasurer with Managing Online Store
  • Manage and update FSHP Website https://fshporlando.weebly.com/
  • Document all events with photographs
  • Help create flyers for upcoming events and guest speakers
  • Submit an article to FSHP (State Chapter) regarding what our student chapter has accomplished this year

Patient Advocacy Chair

  • Plans at least two events and/or Patient Advocacy Weeks per semester
  • Examples of Events Include:
      • Volunteering opportunities for students that focus on specific patient populations
        • Camp Boggy Creek
        • Orlando Superkids Classic
      • Awareness Ribbons (can ask for donations to raise money for a cause if applicable to the focus)
      • Volleyball or Ultimate Frisbee Tournament
      • Speakers specializing in working with certain patient populations
  • Patient Advocacy Weeks focus on a specific patient population (i.e. cancer, transplant, asthma, etc) and can include social media campaigns, small activities on campus, etc. to raise awareness

Clinical Skills Coordinator

  • Promote clinical skill building (i.e. at General Body Meetings, through Guest Speakers, etc.)�
  • Hold information sessions and mock-up sessions in the weeks leading up to competitions
  • Work closely with the Vice President and FSHP/CFSHP Liaisons to plan the following events:
    • Fall: Clinical Skills Competition (an interactive, team-based analysis of clinical scenarios for hospital and health-systems pharmacists)
    • Spring: Medication Error Competition (a timed error analysis of an adverse event)

CFSHP/PAC Liaisons

  • Attend all CFSHP meetings
  • Keep up communication between CFSHP and the FSHP Orlando student chapter
  • Work with the Vice President to help secure guest speakers for General Meetings
  • Plans and executes Annual Flag Football Tournament (Fall) to raise money for FSHP PAC
    • Enlists help from other officers/chairs and orgs�
  • Organizes the Interactive Workshop Event (Spring)
  • Keeps chapter informed with any PAC updates�
  • Promotes any state FSHP or local CFSHP events or activities (CFSHP Annual, mentorship program, etc)

Fundraising Chair

  • Comes up with at least two viable fundraising ideas per semester�
    • Ideas must be approved by E-Board�
  • Advertise and promote fundraising at Chapter events and meetings�
  • Keeps an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all fundraising items�

Health-Systems Outreach Chair

  • Plans at least two events per semester to allow students to connect to hospitals and/or patients
  • Examples of Events Include:
    • Hospital Tours (TGH, ORMC, FH, etc)
    • Health Screenings (could collaborate with Patient Advocacy Chairs or APhA)
    • Poison Prevention Initiatives
    • Intern Panel
    • Pharmacist Shadowing
  • Collaborates with Patient Advocacy Chair to help with Advocacy Week event(s)

Newsletter Chair

  • Submit 1 edition of the Quarterly Capsule per spring, fall, and summer to the UF COP Orlando campus
    • Ensures the timely publication of the Quarterly Capsule
    • Responsible for submissions, layout, and editing of the newsletter
  • Restructure/refresh how the archived issues appear online and make them more easily accessible
  • Responsible for writing articles if not enough students express interest

Professional Development Chair

  • Plans at least two events per semester that promote Professional Development
  • Examples of Events Include:�
  • Annual Policy Panel w/ APhA

  • Networking Workshop
