Community Garden

*96.5 pounds of produce for the school garden

*Provided 100 house plants to students

*Collaborated with Wildlife Alliance, Master Gardeners Association, Sage Garden Project, Garden to Cafe Program, City Farmers Nursery, Coastal Roots Farm

*Collaborated with 18 teachers @ Hoover, Wilson and Twain to build curriculum surrounding mental health, Biology, Art and English

PBL NAA Integration

Purpose: Have classes take on issues that arose from the needs and assets assessment and use PBL as the mechanism for formulating and implementing a solution.

Purpose: Use proven improvement science methods to identify and implement data based solutions to address the needs of our community.

Tentative Expectations:

  • Meet once a month with working group members
  • Follow the consensus decision making model within work group meetings
