What we do:
The Booster Club supports the entire volleyball program running all things from Concessions to Senior Night and pays for needs such as uniforms, equipment (ie poles, balls, score table), charter buses, tournament meals, signage/banners, social media support, hospitality and so much more!

Over the summer, you will be expected to read “The Energy Bus”, it is a short and easy read that represents the type of culture and mindset we will practice in the Glenn Volleyball program.

Over the summer, you will be expected to write a letter of recommendation for yourself. Include details that address your specific goals, what you can bring to the team, and what your strengths and weaknesses are. On the next slide are some specific questions based on the number of years you have played in the program.

Freshmen: Why do you want to be a part of Glenn Volleyball? What strengths will you bring to the program and how will you implement them to help our program? What do you want to get out of the freshman season?
Sophomores: You are now a returner. How will your contributions be different from last year? What role do you see yourself playing for this team? How have you grown since freshman year?
Juniors: You are now becoming the face of Glenn Volleyball. What leadership skills have you developed that will help you lead our program with success? How will you take all you’ve learned and apply it to leading the underclassmen?
Seniors: You are now the leader of the Glenn Volleyball program. How do you see yourself in this leadership role? How will you plan to role model your leadership effectiveness to the underclassmen? What type of legacy do you want to leave?

Please understand that the following Week 1 schedule is subject to change based on Staff Development Day requirements.
Here is a brief overview of what you can expect tryouts and days to follow to look like barring any changes that may be made.
Keep in mind that once tryouts commence, if you make a team, season starts even if school has not yet.

We are planning for 4 teams right now, however there is a possibility of 3 based on how tryouts go.
If you make a team, some things to note are that we do practice on holidays, and all appointments will need to be made outside of practice hours.
