雪深い山古志の春を告げる「直売所まつり」。震災以降、自分たちのできることで山古志の魅力を発信したい！と、直売所を運営する住民の皆さんが主体的に開催してきました。 今年は錦鯉養鯉組合青年部や長岡青年会議所の皆さんも参戦！ 小さな山古志楽舎や、山古志出身の若者たちとも共に１日をつくりあげました！デジタル村民の皆さんも、この日に目がけて多くの方が帰省！デジタル村民＠mayuzouさんからは、帰省するデジタル村民や住民の皆さんへアバターバッチのプレゼントが届きました！当日は、小さな山古志楽舎メンバーやデジタル村民もこのバッチをつけながら交流していました！ （yamakoshi1023）

The "Farmer’s Market Festival" heralds spring in snowy Yamakoshi. Since the earthquake, residents who operate direct sales stores have been proactively holding the festival. This year, the young members of the Nishikigoi Fish Farming Association and the Nagaoka Junior Chamber of Commerce also participated in the festival! The Small Yamakoshi Music House and young people from Yamakoshi also worked together to make the day a success! Many digital villagers also returned to their hometown for the day! Digital villager @mayuzou provided avatar badges as gifts to the returning digital villagers and residents! On the day, Small Yamakoshi Music Houses members and digital villagers were socializing while wearing these badges! (yamakoshi1023)

昨年９月に開催された山古志JAZZが帰ってきました！ 前回盛り上げてくれた、デジタル村民の八木さんをはじめとするメンバーに加え、今回は山古志住民の坂牧颯人さんが参加！ジャズセッションに太鼓の音色が響きました。 会場に設けられた観客テントはあっという間に満席となり、演者と観客が一体となって音楽にノッていました🎵 自然な流れでリーダーとなった八木さんから「次回は秋！お楽しみに！」と予告がされました。皆さん次のニュースを楽しみに待ちましょう✨

Yamakoshi Jazz, which was held last September, is back! In addition to Yagi-san, a digital villager, and other members who livened up the last event, Yamakoshi resident Hayato Sakamaki-san joined this time! The sound of taiko drums echoed in the jazz session. The audience tent at the venue filled up in no time, and the performers and the audience were in unison, getting into the groove of the music 🎵 Yagi-san, who naturally became the leader, announced, "Next time will be in the fall! Look forward to it!" Let's all eagerly await the next news update. ✨

山古志DAO評議員会での約2ヶ月間に渡る検討を経て、山古志DAOの持続的で自律的な運営を目指し、運営DAO準備会がたちあがりました！準備会メンバーには約30名の方が立候補！運営組織、ガバナンス、技術、事業計画、資金計画、広報・交渉、ブリッジチームの７つのチームが誕生し、各チームごとにディスカッションがはじまっています！ また、毎週日曜21:00からは「運営DAO準備会」をDiscordのtalkroomで開催していますので、興味ある方はぜひご参加ください！

After roughly two months of discussions by the Yamakoshi DAO Advisory Council, the Operation DAO Preparation Committee was set up. This is intended to ensure the sustainable and autonomous operation of the Yamakoshi DAO! About 30 people have stepped up to join the committee! Seven teams - Operational Organization, Governance, Technology, Business Planning, Financial Planning, Public Relations and Negotiations, and the Bridge Team - have been formed, and discussions are now underway in each group. We hold the 'Operation DAO Preparation Meeting' every Sunday at 21:00 in our Discord Talk-Room. If you're interested, please come and join us! （yamakoshi10123）

あのCoinbaseが特集記事を公開！オードリータンさんがTシャツを着用！と、ビックニュースが続いた5月。6/17-はデジタル村民有志が山古志へ！住民の皆さん、沢山交流しましょう！（yamakoshi1023）
オードリーさんとお会いする機会をいただいたので、Nishikigoi NFTのTシャツをお土産に持っていきました。オードリーさんはTシャツを受け取るやいなや「着替えてくる」とおっしゃって下さいました。地方の課題について伺ったところ、台湾でも過疎化・高齢化問題はあるようで、AIなどの技術を使って、生活を豊かにすることを考えているとおっしゃっていました。山古志でもできそうな予感…。（RYU）

May was an exciting month with a feature article on Coinbase and Audrey Tan wearing our t-shirt. From 17 June, Digital Villagers volunteers will be visiting Yamakoshi! Residents, let's interact a lot! (Yamakoshi 1023) We had the opportunity to meet Audrey Tan and presented her with a Nishikigoi NFT T-shirt as a gift. Audrey was so thrilled that she decided to wear it immediately. When we discussed the challenges facing rural areas, she shared that Taiwan is also grappling with depopulation and ageing issues, and they are considering the use of AI and other technologies to enhance the quality of life. I have a feeling that this could be done in Yamakoshi as well... (RYU)

長岡市リリックホールにて（一社）長岡青年会議所主催のイベントが開催されました。テーマは「地方創生3.0 〜山古志の魅せた光〜」。講師として竹内春華代表とデジタル村民Kousukeが参加しました。NFT発行までに至る集落存亡をかけた挑戦や仮想山古志村PJの活動などをお話しさせて頂きました。当日の講演はCluster内のメタバース山古志で発表し、会場だけでなくワールド内に入って聞くこともできました。講演後もたくさんの方々と交流させて頂き、山古志の挑戦に対する熱い注目を感じました。

An event organised by the Nagaoka Junior Chamber (JC) of Commerce was held at the Lyric Hall in Nagaoka. The theme of the event was "Local Revitalization 3.0: The Enchanted Light of Yamakoshi”. Haruka Takeuchi, representative of the Yamakoshi Residents' Council and digital villager Kousuke participated as lecturers and talked about the challenge of village survival leading up to the issuance of NFTs, as well as the activities of the Virtual Yamakoshi Village Project. The lecture was able to listen to via Metaverse Yamakoshi in the Cluster, not only at the onsite venue. After the lecture, I had a chance to interact with many people and felt passionate attention to the challenges of Yamakoshi.

薬師の陵の景観保護のため、山古志週末ワークキャンプの開催。ボランティアで集まったメンバーは6人。大阪から車で参加された方もおり、皆で必死に草刈りを行いました。途中あまりの絶景のため、手を休める方もチラホラ(笑)。夜はログハウスでカレーを食べて景色の語り合い。驚いたことは、皆がNishikigoi NFTの存在を知っていたこと。それで山古志に興味を抱いて参加したのかもしれません。帰り際、ボランティアに参加したメンバーが、揃って言っていた言葉があります。「絶対にまた山古志に来たい！」と。

The Yamakoshi Weekend Work Camp was organized to preserve the landscape of YAKUSHI-NO-OKA. We had a group of six volunteers, with some even driving from Osaka to join us. The group worked tirelessly to clear the overgrowth, some taking a break only to admire the breathtaking view. In the evening, we gathered in a log cabin for curry and conversations about the scenery. To my surprise, everyone knew about Nishikigoi NFT, which may be the reason why they developed an interest in Yamakoshi and decided to participate. As they headed home, all the volunteers collectively voiced a sentiment: "We'll definitely return to Yamakoshi!” (Riman)
