The Singing Bowl

Let’s close our eyes when the SINGING BOWL ringing starts. Relax and let go of everything.…thinking only of right here - right now. Focus on your breathing. Keep your eyes closed until you can no longer hear the ringing tone. Sit quietly and be very still until everyone’s eyes are open. Let’s cross our arms/hands and place them gently across our hearts while we wait for all to open their eyes.

  • Think back to Part 1 of our lesson on Positive School Climate.
  • How will YOU help create a positive school climate at Deer Creek?
  • What actions will you do/display?
  • What will you say to others?
  • How will you say it?
  • Get around a campfire dot by yourself or with 2-3 per group
  • Cut out your carton. Clean up your trash.
  • In pencil, design a milk carton depicting how YOU will help create a positive school climate at Deer Creek.
  • Turn in supplies.
  • Get crayons/colored pencils to color and embellish.

Supplies needed:

Clipboard - Milk carton - Scissors - Pencil - Crayons/Colored pencils
