Sub-Reselling Program

Overview

Wholesale partners are now able to officially resell select third-party products to their customers while making a small margin. This program is available to all Carl’s Place Wholesale partners and will continue to evolve over time. Our goal is to add value to your relationship with Carl’s Place, simplify product ordering, and pass through a margin.

How it Works:

  • Review the Wholesale Sub-Reseller Program and Product Guide here to see the Terms & Conditions.
    • This documents includes the full list of eligible products, brief product details, your margin, and sub-reselling expectations/requirements/support processes.
  • To purchase these products, just log into your Carl’s Place account as you normally would. The product discount will be automatically applied.

Important Notes:

  • Carl’s Place has secured all necessary permissions from these third-party companies to establish Sub-Reselling.
  • The Reseller Restrictions column (in the inventory document) indicates if online product listings and online transactions sales are allowed (ecommerce).
  • Strict compliance with our Terms & Conditions is critical to the success of the program and ability to participate.
  • We will make every effort to keep product inventory levels updated but, due to many factors, cannot guarantee long term availability of any products or access to the program in general.
  • Third-party product sales events will be handled on a case by case basis for any temporary changes to sub-reseller discounts. There is no guarantee that discounts will change during these events.
  • Resellers are welcome to pull approved image assets off the Carl’s Place product pages for sub-reseller products.

Shipping and Delivery Process

  • Resellers are responsible for shipping costs on each order. Carl’s Place exclusively uses FedEx or UPS for orders and the rates can change daily.
  • Curved Enclosure Pipe Kits and Built-In Panels will ship Freight. Please add Lift-Gate Service to the order if your customer is unable to accept responsibility for unloading the delivery.
  • You will be sent an email that includes the carrier and tracking number once your order has shipped. Carl’s Place primarily uses FedEx or UPS and you may receive more than one shipment depending on items purchased.

*Please note, we are not able to accept alternative carrier or shipping arrangements at this time.

  • It is important to get in the habit of verifying that the order was successfully received by you or your customer as expected. This includes:
    • Confirming that all packages were received and all items are accounted for.
    • Ensuring that the products work for your customer, so that any issues or concerns can be addressed within the return window.

*Domestic shipments will not include a reference to order costs. However, please note that product value documents may be necessary for international shipments.

  • The delivery date is our good faith estimate based on current lead times and the information we receive from carriers. Ownership of and responsibility for all shipments passes to partners at the time of pick up; please communicate with the carrier directly regarding any concerns or delays. If there is an issue with a lost shipment, please reach out to us and we’d be happy to help with filing a claim.
  • For international orders, any duties, taxes, brokerage, or other import fees are the responsibility of the recipient. It is necessary to secure a broker for freight shipments to Canada.

Please visit our Shipping and Returns page for more information.

E-commerce - Shipping and Delivery

  • Resellers are responsible for shipping costs on each order however most E-commerce resellers offer free shipping to customers to be competitive in the marketplace.
  • Curved Screen Enclosure Pipe Kits and Built-In Panels ship Freight.
    • For ecommerce transactions, you can establish a flat freight cost for these products to charge your customers. It is your responsibility to identify a flat fee that makes sense for your business. Since this cost is based on the order size and shipping destination the rate is dynamic. We’ve seen a flat $700 freight cost used that will cover most freight shipping costs scenarios.
    • Please add Lift-Gate Service to the order if your customer is unable to accept responsibility for unloading the delivery or is unable to unload a pallet of 50lb boxes. You may consider always adding in an addition fee to your flat freight fee to account for this.
  • You will be sent an email that includes the carrier and tracking number once your order has shipped. Carl’s Place primarily uses FedEx or UPS and you may receive more than one shipment depending on items purchased.

*Please note, we are not able to accept alternative carrier or shipping arrangements at this time.

Please visit our Shipping and Returns page for more information.

Factors to Consider

for an Optimal Setup

It’s important to double check that the items will work for your customer’s space before proceeding with placing an order. Below are our recommendations for optimal performance. You can reference this guide as well.

We recommend hitting a minimum of 10 feet away from the Impact Screen. This is necessary for both safety of the golfer as well as preventing premature wear on the material. For the same reason, we don’t suggest incorporating additional buffer materials that may come into contact with the screen.

For DIY Enclosures - We recommend 2-3” of buffer space on each side and top of the enclosure. This is not only necessary for assembly but also helps protect walls and ceilings. Best fit for spaces that are at least 100” x 100” or larger. DIY Golf Enclosure Kit – C-Series Specifications

For Pro Enclosures - We recommend 2-3” of buffer space on each side on top of the enclosure. Best fit for spaces that are at least 108”H x 108” or larger. Pro Golf Enclosure Kit – C-Series Specifications NEW

For Curved Enclosures - We recommend 2-3” of buffer space on each side and 6” of buffer space on top of the enclosure. Assembling the Enclosure will be difficult, if not impossible, without this buffer space. Best fit for spaces that are at least 108”H x 108” or larger. Pro Golf Enclosure Kit – C-Series Specifications - Curved Golf Enclosure Kit - Specifications

For Impact Screens - We recommend building your frame with 1” EMT Pipes so that the outer frame dimensions are 4” taller and 4” wider than the outer screen dimensions. This provides even tension when using our 6” Ball Bungees. Keep at least 12-16” of free and clear space behind the screen so that the material can stretch freely. Golf Impact Screens – Specifications

For Built-In Screens - These work in squared off, finished rooms up to 11 feet tall and up to 20 feet wide. We recommend keeping at least 12” of free and clear space behind the screen and you’ll need 6” in front of the screen for the flaps to connect to the wall and ceiling.

For Built-In Panels - Panel sizes range from 19-24” tall, 36” wide, and about 2” thick. Requests must be in increments of 3 feet deep, which start about 6” from the screen (this accounts for the required starter panel). We do not currently offer customizations to fit around obstructions, but you’re welcome to do this on your own if you feel comfortable with modifying the panels.

Reference the corresponding Specifications Charts to confirm exact outer dimensions as needed.

Setup Recommendations

  • Allow 12-16” of free and clear space behind the Impact Screen. Anything touching the back of the screen can add friction, causing premature wear, safety hazards, or damage to the space.

  • DIY Enclosures require 2-3” of buffer space above and on each side of the enclosure frame.

  • Pro Enclosures require 2-3” of buffer space on the top and sides for necessary for assembly.

  • Curved Enclosures require 2-3” of buffer space on the sides and 6” on top necessary for assembly.

  • If building your own frame using 1” EMT (for the DIY Enclosure), we suggest that the outer frame dimensions be 4” taller and 4” wider than the outer screen dimensions for even tension when using our 6” Ball Bungees. We have not tested our screens on alternative framing, but you can use this as a basis for sizing the screen

  • Position the tee a minimum of 10’ away from the screen. This is to prevent unsafe bounce back as well as prolong the life of the screen.

  • Always use new, clean, unscuffed golf balls and clean clubs to prevent scuffs and stains. DO NOT USE COLORED GOLF BALLS!

21 of 38

Troubleshooting Tips

Bounce Back

  • Adjust the releasable zip ties to find the right balance between the flatness of the screen and how quickly the ball bounces back. A more tensioned screen will have greater bounceback. Add Foam Inserts to Enclosures to reduce ricochet off the frame. View more tips in our Troubleshooting Bounceback video here.

Framing/Installation

  • If Enclosure materials are not fitting correctly, please first verify that the outer dimensions of the frame are correct, then moving on to confirm the dimensions of each component, to identify the disconnect.
  • The Enclosure material will be a few inches away from the back of the frame after securing the front flaps first. This is normal and ensures the bungees pull the material tight.

Removing Wrinkles

  • Time, weight, and gravity will relax any fold marks after the screen is installed. This can take longer depending how long the screen was left folded, but to speed up the process, use a clothes iron on a VERY low setting on the backside of the screen or a hand steamer, being carefully not to leave water spots. We encourage you to open and unfold your impact screen as soon as possible.

Cleaning The Impact Screen

  • Check out this video and be sure the material is not left to air dry, as permanent water spots may form. You can dry the screen with a fan or hairdryer on a low setting.

Wear and Tear

  • Since our screens are not under warranty, it’s important to review your customer’s setup (see previous slide) for opportunities that may have contributed to any premature wear, including holes or tears. When you reach out to our Wholesale Team, please include photos and the original order number to troubleshoot, review possible solutions, or determine if a complimentary Repair Patch may help.

Product Overview:

PRO Enclosure Kit

New version launching October 2025. With a focus on superior design and long-term durability, Carl’s Place has refined the Pro Golf Enclosure Kit with updates that make it more adaptable and streamline installations. Each improvement was shaped by customer and reseller feedback and built to anticipate future technology needs.

What’s New

  1. Versatile Crossbar System
    • No need to lock in crossbar placement when you order, it gives you the flexibility to adjust its position.
    • Easy to slide the crossbar forward or back during setup for perfect alignment.
    • Future-proof design - adapts easily to new launch monitor technology without retrofitting your enclosure.
  2. BlackStop™ Fabric
    • Creates a darker environment, making your projected image pop with brighter colors and sharper contrast.

FAQ

Curved Golf Enclosure Kit

  • How long does it take to assemble the enclosure?
    • Approximately 4 hours. It's best if you have a couple helpers, especially for lifting and connecting pipes for the frame. See this assembly article for more info.
  • Is Carl's curved golf simulator really DIY?
    • Absolutely! You will need at least two people to do the assembly.
  • What pipes do I need to construct the enclosure kit frame?
    • Just like our PRO Enclosure Kit, these are 2-inch EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing/Conduit). Customers can purchase the Pipe Framing Kit or source the pipes locally. Our Pipe Framing kits ship freight and If you are unable to unload a pallet of 50lb boxes, you should add lift gate service.
  • Does a curved golf simulator require a special projector?
    • No special projector is required for a curved golf simulator, but for the best image quality, we recommend using software that supports image warping. The LG BU53RG and BenQ LK936ST projectors include warping software. A third good third party warping software option is Immersive Display Pro.
    • The projector specifications determine the maximum image size and how far from the screen it will need to be mounted. Check out our screen size calculator to find the best mounting location.
    • Important Note: When calculating the mounting location for a projector, measure to the leading edge of the curved screen closest to the golfer (not the deepest part of the screen furthest away). This leading edge is considered the front of the screen and is where you should measure your projector mounting distance from. Screen warping software allows you to “pinch” the projected image to accommodate the depth in the curve.
  • Can you make a custom-sized curved enclosure?
    • Absolutely! Our curved golf simulator enclosures can be customized to fit your space, as long as it falls within these outer dimensions:
      • Height: 102" to 120"
      • Width: 144" to 240"
      • Depth: 82" to 240"
    • These dimensions reflect the enclosure's outer edges, so make sure to also account for buffer space around it—6 inches above and 2-3 inches on each side for a proper fit. If your space falls within these ranges, contact our team to discuss your setup. Since custom enclosures are made just for you, be sure to review our Returns Policy for custom products.

What Is Masking?

The C-Series Screens and Built-In Screen Kits are sewn with a section of Black Impact Material across the top. Since they do not have a black finish along the bottom, this masking helps with maintaining aspect ratios in the white viewable area. The masking material is safe for impact and the height can be customized within the ranges below.

-C-Series Screen masking ranges from 4” to 8”

-Built-In Screen masking ranges from 4” to 12”

You are welcome to request the size of your masking within these ranges only. Currently, we do not have the option to remove the masking entirely or add in to other areas of the screen.
