Target Consumer/Client:
List who has the problem here/who would use your final project
Problem Statement
Combine the complaints the client gave into a single problem statement. It should be 2-3 sentences that fully explains the issues the client has.
Criteria and Constraints
Criteria:
List minimum requirements that the client has. They can be wants or needs, but the most important ones must be included
Constraints:
What limitations will keep you from reaching the perfect design? What will prevent you from meeting all the client’s wants and needs?
Research
Look online to find potential design inspiration for projects that already exist and would help to meet the client’s criteria. Include images and links to those resources here.
Initial design sketches (Only part of the project that is individually graded)
Each teammate must create an initial design sketch for what they think the final plan should look like. Upload a photo for each teammate here and be sure to include a text box with the person’s name for each image.
Final Design Sketch and Design Statement
Combine the best parts of each design, create a final design sketch here. Be sure to include labels for important features, materials, or functions. This final sketch will act as a blueprint for what you need to actually build. Also, include the design statement that fully describes how the project will solve everything from the problem statement.
Daily log: each day list what you did that class, what you need to do the next day, and any design modifications you made to the final plan. You may also add progress photos.
