The “Code Red” program was introduced by Nobleman Orlando, who has henceforth been taken into World Government custody for questioning.

a height as the notoriously volatile New Generation of Pirates entered the fray. The group of pirates, however, seemed to each bear their own motives and were spotted to have been fighting battles against both sides. While some chose to assist in what appeared to be peacekeeping, (as they fought off either revolutionaries or rogue robots)

������������it is unclear as of now whether or not these pirates acted due to ulterior motives. The Red Rum Company, The Mystic Pirates, The Foundation and The Goldeneye Pirates were spotted

deep within the fray, fighting both sides of the maritime blockades. It was also reported that certain members of the New Generation were said to be flaunting the fact that they had June in their possession. The outrageous claim however, turned out to be little more than a hoax to instigate our warriors of justice.

At the end of the day, flags of a certain organization known as Method were seen at both ends of the blockade, said to have repelled the forces of both parties. While the newly sprouted organization found success against the commanders of the armies, members of Mystic Pirates and Foundation emerged victorious as they waged battle against the malfunctioning androids and revolutionary commanders on the Belt respectively.

While reparation efforts are already underway, it is advised that all surviving civilians wait until more help is sent to the island. The Infernal Legion has raised their Jolly Roger on the island, and its members have been known to have fought tooth and nail with World Government peacekeepers in the past. They are a dangerous force, and should not be fraternized with.

This however, was not the first time that the New Generation proved itself to be a thorn in the side of the World Government. A few moons earlier, The New Generation clashed against the Marine fleet on the remote island of Kiboshima. The upstarts were believed to be the main factor that impeded the efforts of Commodore Numen in

retrieving a dangerous weapon believed to have�been located on the deep within the island.��Vice Admiral Tribunali was soon sent to back up�The valiant officers but unfortunately due to an �earlier brush against the World’s Greatest �Swordsman was unable to oversee the mission�to completion. Our reports confirm that the very same�weapon had later fallen into the hands of�the New Generation Pirates

Mercurial Method�

Led by “Raven-haired” Aile, ex associate of the Red Rum Company, the enigma of an organization seemed to emerge out of thin air. Intelligence reports point out that the crew’s ranks were made largely out of ex-employees of the Red Rum Co. merged with the remnants of the Eclipse Pirates.

“Bladesworn” Aiden and “Morning Star” Parcival Malcharion were the front runners of the New Generation in sinking the revolutionary blockade, along with “Bleeding Heart” Vidas and his commanding team of Bronx “The Bastard” and Kin Tomlin. The bloody exchange on board the revolutionary flagship was spotted from the shores of the Belt. The small strikeforce was successful, repelling the revolutionaries with non lethal force as other groups of Method operatives were sent to all corners of the battlefield.

With the major chunk of the Method forces occupied elsewhere, the captain of the organization rallied a ragtag fleet comprised of not only the released slaves from Aqua Belt’s Auction House, but pirates from other crews as well such as, “Queen of Monsters” Morrigan and “West Winds” Sunny. Banded together, the fleet managed to bring down Rear Admiral Kimberly’s forces and felled Maetrine Citadel, which prior to the events in question, was widely regarded to be infallible as a symbol of absolute World Government power before the New World.

Dangerous Brew

�To many shady brokers, this name is no longer a foreign sounding on the tongue. Ever since the events of Anchorage, we have been keeping a close eye at the company and their ventures. Among the ever changing new wave of pirates, it is especially rare to find a consistent group of individuals. As such, even the continued existence of Red Rum Company under the leadership of “Okibouzu” Zetsuki is worth noting.

The face of the company had not changed since day one, and it certainly remained steadfast

as his organization repelled marine forces on the other side of Kiboshima. “Black Paw” Aars S. Brutus, his unchanging second in command defeated Commander Yashino in a cruel display of violent swordsmanship. The Skypiean is widely regarded to be popular among her superiors and subordinates, so it is with great delight that we report she has made a full recovery and is soon returning to the front lines.

On the other hand, the company CEO had fought against Rear Admiral Asher Winterwind, brother of the beloved Hero of Obsia, Nadalee Winterwind. The young rear admiral was working with the Vice Admiral’s fleet when he was intercepted. Unlike the one involving his first mate, Zetsuki’s battle with the marine officer didn’t seem to end on such violent terms. Intelligence spotted the two men conversing cordially before the entire forest burnt

Despite taking on multiple formidable opponents on two fronts, the crew managed to emerge victorious in both battles and force the warring factions into a retreat. While the crew certainly drew eyeballs on the Aqua Belt, their first debut on the stage of the Grand Line was undoubtedly on Kiboshima, where Linette “Crownbeaker” Shaw had assisted her captain in defeating the head of the marine forces at that time, Vice Admiral Tribunali. It should be mentioned that the seasoned marine had received a heavy injury during an earlier encounter with the World’s Greatest Swordsman, Radegast. Other members of the group, namely “Drunken Beast” Feng Baihu and “Lightbringer” Mordecai, had defeated prominent marine staff Commodore Numen and Lieutenant Shien respectively, but they were said to have left

organization ranks shortly after. Additionally, “Crazy Witch” Babs Yagavich along with Mr. 30 had been spotted engaged in combat with ex-pirate and Captain of the Domino Pirates, Saif.

Yet, the crew still seems to be growing strong, rallying civilians and so-called “victims of oppression” under their banner, with their main group referred to as the “Assault Team”. Another one of the most highly dangerous individuals in the group, and probably in the generation, is the fishman who goes by the moniker “Mr. 30”. He had been

�to the ground. When asked about it in an interview on the feature “Top 10 Marines I would love to date”, the second place Asher had this to say about the encounter:

While tongue and cheek is appreciated, the direness of the situation is not to be underestimated. The company's motives, once regarded as villainous, have started to dilute in our understanding. On the Aqua Belt, prior to the developments of the war, “Twilight Temptress” Elizabeth Black was seen coming and going from Maetrine Citadel to converse with now disgraced nobleman, Orlando. While we are unable to contact the latter at this point in time, the gothic lady’s high position in the company hierarchy is unmistakable.

Following suit, “War Oni” Bui Itsuko was also spotted fraternizing with the mink village. Considering how the jolly roger of the company was seen fluttering proudly in the winds as they engaged revolutionary ships, one could only speculate that these events are somehow connected. Again, the company’s intentions are a grey area, and this is also reinforced by the fact that one of their newer associates, “Brickhouse” Woody, was involved in the Auction House fires that started the battle. For now, it is well advised that readers should wait for more information, and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.

The Red Rum Company’s chemist, Elizabeth Black, was also known to have been hired into a specialized team of mercenaries all tasked with robbing the Emerald Point Casino. Several complications occurred, resulting in a battle

one of the greatest menaces of the last few months, committing heinous crimes far too unspeakable for even someone of his status. Women and children were not spared from his cruelty. Authorities and marines have found it hard to reason with the man’s actions, especially when he is part of what looks to be such a coordinated effort that is Method. A large question mark remains about what Mr. 30’s motives are, though we strongly believe that there aren’t any.

One thing is for certain, and it's that this scourge in the Grand Line is growing. The latest member of their lineup is the rookie “Snow-Haired” Clare, who had only gained notoriety since the Aqua Belt and already deemed dangerous enough to warrant bounty touching nearly eight figures. Word has it that she had only joined

Method after the Aqua Belt, but it must be assumed that the pirates are amassing powerful members of the New Generation into their ranks.

Intel confirmed her affiliation with Method when reliable sources reported her destroying a marine base with captain, “Raven-haired” Aile. Soon thereafter, they were spotted linking up with the rest of their crew on the shores of Shard’s End. The marines were quick to act and attempt an official arrest, although the large battalion was met with intense resistance.

In light of their quick departure from the Aqua Belt, it is to be assumed that the organization seems to have territorial expansion plans in the works, especially after their take over of Naranha Island and freeing of the dangerous criminal Miyuki Canus.

While �the battle was tough for the companywoman, she was still able to escape with her life after a terrible dance with the sun. The one thing that brought her an edge to victory was the incredible display of speed she showed. Rumor has it, she had moved faster than a cheetah! Following the battle, the heist was complete, and the dracula woman was able to obtain a devil fruit from the vault.

The company is still very much involved in shady dealings after the fall of Shichibukai “Dark Lord” Imuet, also at their hands. Their business included

a business dealing that quickly dissolved into an all out war against Julius V. Gang. The pompous family leader was quick to get on the company’s bad side. Later, the two managed to find the Brutus family. While the second in command of the company shared their namesake, it appears he was not related to any of them directly. The events that played out there resulted in an all out war between monkeys and bats after the Red Rum employees rescued Nirn V. Gang from the unholy ritual Gang bats went through. The resulting battle consumed the whole island of Darkasta and reportedly released a chaotic spirit that led to many casualties on both sides. In the ensuing tussle, “Okibouzo” and “Black Paw” managed to force the spirit to retreat. However, the victory came at a heavy price as the monkey mink was said to have lost his right arm.

compound of slavers on the Aqua Belt was wiped out in one night, leaving nothing but ash and explosive craters. All signs pointed towards “War Oni” Bui and “Okibouzo” Zetsuki due to

a nearby barmaid witness who was able to pick out the leopard mink’s bounty poster and

authorities found the salamander’s nearby. “Devil’s Child” Kirari was seen with the company’s boss, fleeing a gruesome scene in the mansion of public figure, Alex Jones.

“Blood Rose” Amara has also been sighted with the “Devil’s Child” leading authorities to believe the company’s ranks are still growing.

Another blight threatens to destabilize the order of the world, yet there is unconfirmed information that they have been working with certain marines even prior to the events of the Aqua Belt. As the sights of the world shifts towards the New Generation of Pirates, so will our efforts to uncover just what this group of supposed businessmen are up to.

A Crumbling�Foundation?

Despite their power, �longevity is not �something most crews �in the New Generation �are known for. Yet, it came as a surprise when the Foundation Pirates dissolved. To our readers who are unaware, the group comprised of rag tag individuals under the duo leadership of Abraham “The Infernal” and “Sleeping Devil” Ziavash. Their members had notable accomplishments; Abraham, together with “Hawkeye” Svik and Bop, sided with the marines in a cordial attempt at felling the Perfect Alpha: 001. The captain in question had also bested one of the revolutionary commanders, Eiron “Boom” Hauer, in a one on one slugfest during the civil war on the Aqua Belt itself. Intelligence spotted the hellhound fruit user fly into a fit of rage as his comrade,

Kintaro, fell to “Bleeding Heart” Vidas right before his eyes. One could perhaps wonder if the disbanding of the group was due to losses among their ranks; Den Kotofield, a member who took on one of Ryokujo’s creatures, Perfect Alpha 2: Model Tricera, was also reported to have left the organization.

Regardless, the fight between the Foundation captain and the revolutionary officer was said to have been fierce, and due to the destructive capabilities of the duo, it was difficult to gather details about the fight. On top of this, much like the rest of the new generation, Foundation managed to get tangled up in the

Revolutionary’s and Marine’s war on Aquabelt. The flagship of Foundation was clearly seen at sea, clashing against several ships from the revolutionaries’ forces, and even setting flames on the sea within the Belt before though their advance was brought to a halt.

​

While this was going on, word has it that the dissolved group’s second captain, “Sleeping Devil” Ziavash, has been amassing territories under his individual name. Earlier, he made a sudden appearance on one of the government’s islands. Quite unexpectedly, the man challenged the local authorities, single

handedly storming the Marines’ base and incapacitating, or even worse, massacring their forces with no signs of remorse or mercy.. Finally, he was met with the ruler of the island, Commodore Ifrit. Challenging him intense combat, the villainous character not only beat but mercilessly slaughtered the man. The unreasonable actions of the man have placed the world government’s eyes onto him and his crew, and further discussions are still being conducted about both him and the trouble the new generation of pirates have caused. Lastly, the man proclaimed himself ruler of the island, forcing the common folk to submission, and thus beginning a new era of terror. We wholeheartedly hope that the heroes of justice, the Marines will soon reclaim the area and liberate it of its oppressors. Prior to their breakup, the Foundation was

regarded as having the largest swathes of territory to its name (among the rookie crews). Yet, sources have cited that the magma user’s methodology is vastly different from the rest of his crews, as is his chaotic way of ruling. A true tyrant and barbarian, civilians are urged to be on their guard.

������������Before their disbanding, Foundation have attracted a large number of eyes on them with their previous activities, and although most of them seem to hold the intention to take them out of the picture, a certain someone seemed to have taken interest and joined

them. A young member of the new generation, named

“Sharptooth” Shihio seemed to make contact with one of the renowned captains of the notorious crew: Abraham “The Infernal”. It is said that the duo infiltrated one of the government’s research facilities, slaughtering and beating up not only the guards and marines but also the innocent bystanders and scientists. They left behind a blaze of fires which burned the facility to smithereens Rumour has it that the duo already have something big planned, and marines would be sure to notify the general populace should this change.

Goldeneye Pirates: A Rising Threat

����������For one more time, the new generation of pirates surprises us with the formation of a whole new Pirate crew. The members of the Goldeneye Pirates sport both completely new and already famous characters, while their recent involvement in Aquabelt’s Skirmish clearly tells us that this is not the last we see of them.

Their Captain, whose epithet the name of the group is based on, “Golden Eyed” Matsuya was seen on the group’s ship along with “Supersonic Fuzzball”

Mystic Pirates: Veterans among Rookies

Another name synonymous with the New Generation, this long-standing group was involved heavily in the developments of the Aqua Belt. Under the new leadership of “Silver Lined” Cynthia, the group had not been afraid to enact their anti-world government narrative by engaging marine forces throughout the island. The skypiean captain had destroyed the largest of the marine machines put into action on the Aqua Belt, the AB-Spider Ward MK-1. The battle developed in a violent tempest among the smouldering, concrete wasteland, and it was reported that while the pirate was victorious, she had absolutely no regard for collateral in the process. Civilians are still currently in shock, succumbing to fear tactics

����������employed by the group and claiming that it was her who has saved them, World Government intelligence has confirmed as of now that the brave actions of surrounding marine officers from Kimberly’s forces were largely responsible for the preservation of life.

Despite laying low against Vice Admiral Tribunali and Commodore Numen’s battalion on Kiboshima, the group seemed to attack all sides of the marine front during the battle of Auction Day. “Queen of Monsters” Morrigan had reported to have been seen among the Method fleet sieging Maetrine Citadel, and her 50

“The Stinger” Ephyra and “Monster Hunter” Kiru, taking on Marine forces in an attempt to storm the Maetrine Citadel. Perhaps it was their lack of experience that didn’t allow them to push all the way through the blockades of Marines, although their crusade against the Marines could only be described with two words: Impressive & concerning.

We also believe this crew has friendly ties with other members of the New Generation, although sources seem to be scattered and misinformed. “Supersonic Fuzzball” Fuji was seen with Method’s “Raven-haired” Aile assaulting a garrison on the December Colony, a World Government owned trading hub, and bringing grievous harm upon large numbers of brave Marine soldiers in their pursuit to sate their own green

and bloodlust. Countless merchandise had been destroyed in the process, and dead bodies piled in bloody

heaps as the pirates seized the territory for themselves. Reports also stated that the true purpose of the raid was to capture civilians as slaves, and that the island had been claimed by the Golden Eye Pirates. Marine forces have been dispatched but have been delayed due to the chaotic developments of the Aqua Belt.

We are closely monitoring this new group of criminals. Are they going to cause the same chaos the rest of their generation has? Perhaps their goals are different than the rest? We can not guess, but we

Fahrenheit” Merlin assisted by his vice captain, “Silver Lined” Cynthia, went up against Marine Lieutenant Commander Shawks and Warrant Officer Junji. Although they didn’t end up being the ones to rescue their crew mate, they put on a fantastic display of their powers as they dispatched the Marine warship in their path.

Shawks and Junji were surprised to find themselves still alive after what they heard about the new generation of

pirates. They both said they had never seen foes quite like the determined Mystic Pirates, and claimed they would fight them again if given the chance.

The Lieutenant had this to say on the incident:

“Aye, that Patsy with the silver hair and golden meow sure gave me and me boys a beating. They owe me a new ship, right yeah? What’s this interview for again, Patsy?”

The Warrant Officer chose not to comment.

To the world at large, the Iron Vikings were just another easily forgotten pirate crew among so many others sailing the Grand Line. Yet to the inhabitants of Bendrecarr, which the Vikings had claimed as their headquarters, these villains were nothing short of an apocalyptic force of evil, enslaving and exploiting the innocent islanders. But these dark days have passed, as Marine Captain Scawy Spise and her troops bravely fought and captured every last member of the iron-obsessed scoundrels, including their captain Bjornulf.

Yet according to anonymous sources the truth might be a bit different. These unverified claims state that the Iron Vikings were in fact defeated by infamous pirate Fuji, also

known as the "Supersonic Fuzzball", and that the Marines merely arrested the already scattered and vulnerable pirates. Scawy Spise's superiors deny these claims, although the captain herself has declined making any comments. Whatever truly happened that day, the end result is the same: an island freed from the tyrannical clutches of pirates, and another dangerous crew taken off the seas.

Sleeping Dogs Bite

Yet again, amidst the chaos of the battlefield, Captain “Golden Snake” Edward made an appearance in Kiboshima. Although our sources on the subject are scarce, we have evidence of his interaction with Commander Yashino. What the two talked about remains unknown, although the Commander does report that her transponder snail had been stolen by the cunning

found herself caught up in diplomatic affairs on an island called Cretia, when a scheming man named Orion fooled the young pirate into kidnapping the king. Upon doing what she thought was right, the misguided girl found herself imprisoned with the very same king she tried to kidnap, King Niall. Orion had betrayed her, taking the empty throne for himself.

Once she had regained her freedom, she assisted in an exciting breakout. This allowed the skypiean to undo her ignorant actions and lead to her restoring King Niall to his rightful place on Cretia’s throne. Once the ordeal was over, the king claimed to have nothing but respect for the young woman, not carrying an ounce of malice for her previous actions. The king was so kind as to even give the girl a gift for her heroic actions.

It is obvious from their showing on the Aqua Belt that the Mystic Pirates pose one of the largest and loudest resistances against the World Government narrative. Civilians with any information, please notify authorities immediately.

Additionally, Edward could not help but also get involved in Aqua Belt’s events. Our sources tell us that the Captain of the Sleeping Dogs had been seen

����������closely cooperating with a member of the Red Rum Co. and the individual known as Yaris. Little is known what this group was planning behind the scenes.

On another shocking note, Edward, of the Sleeping Dogs seemed to have received assistance by another member of the new generation. Information about the individual are lacking, though witnesses have let us know that the person named Yaris looks like a Cripple, and the two met in Aquabelt’s prisons. The two seemed to grow fond of each other, and quickly, not only they worked together to break out, but also cause a turmoil in Aquabelt’s events.

An Enigmatic Crew Rises

A source �operating �outside of �the familiar �chain of �islands �tells us that �a new crew �is on the rise. �Not much is known about them, for they have been operating far out of sight from the limelight of recent events along the main island chain.

The group first caught the eyes of authorities on the island of Shanglot, where after joining hands with a certain captain “Baldbeard”, “King Sinbad”

Xerxes’ crew incited a riot among the populace forcing the Marines under Captain

Gatlin to be ousted from their position.

The group once again proved to be a magnet for problems when they appeared on the island nation of Camelot. Aided by the rogue nation’s army, the pirate crew clashed against the Marine Forces resulting in the death of the respected Captain Gatlin at the hands of the Captain

Not much more is known at this time about the new group as most marine intelligence forces are concentrated near Fishman Island, but any information reported on these new rookies would be rewarded

Storm bringer

� While clear sources� have cited that� “West Winds”� Sunny is not� affiliated to any� entities of the New� Generation, the� former Atlas pirate� was one of the main� driving forces in� Method’s fleet in� defeating Rear� Admiral Kimberly and her right hand man, Marine captain Blaine. The avian had defeated Commodore Migigawa, who was promoted for his grand feats including having her captured on the shores of Kiboshima. Despite his valiant efforts, it seemed that she somehow broken out and wrecked havoc on the island. The fires of the auction house seem to be a primary result of this, and while all fingers point to members of the New Generation being the cause of this, no information can be confirmed at this time. The avian is by far one of the most dangerous solo entities in paradise right now, and the aftermath of her psychotic massacres are as bloody as they are gruesome. The murder is still on the loose, do not be fooled by her seraphic appearance.

The Cripple and the Devil

While the notorious pirate “Sleeping Devil” Ziavash was still posing around as a masked man named “Red Dead” Diavolo, a peculiar incident happened, �leaving both marines and us �at the newscoo curious. The �pirate made a sudden �appearance on a ship �restaurant, destroying a �large part of the vessel and �taking a cripple worker, �Yaris, as a hostage. Once the �local marines got involved, �the man turned himself in, �and along with the cripple, �was taken at Commodore �Puff’s base for interrogation and punishment. To our surprise, the man named Yaris, not only ended up assisting the notorious pirate to escape, but to also defeat the ruling Commodore. Once again, “Sleeping Devil” Ziavash left behind a bloody path with the assistance of the cripple. The man further proclaimed the island of Rohak as his own territory. Yet another set of civilians has to suffer at the hands of the malicious man…

Reptilians expand their Dominion!

After a significant period of absence, “Reptophile” Zorcun Eldros and his crew have emerged on the island of Argonia. While the crew had supposedly arrived on the tropical island due to an expedition they claim was related to their research, it did not take long for violence to break out between the outlaws and the Government affiliated pirates. Given the notorious man’s recent involvement with the fall of a fellow Shichibukai, "Leaping" Froskur (another one of the Seven himself)

��������������was less than pleased to have the unwelcome pirate at his footsteps and sought to drive out the upstart

crew from his waters.While Jack “The Frost” Ryu, the crew’s quartermaster was spotted in battle against the first mate, Gobu “The Abyss”, one of the prominent members was nowhere to be found.

I: “To wrap things up, there’s a question I’ve been asking all the other pirates. What island is the best vacation spot in Paradise?”

Z: “A very nuanced question, I like that. Well, unfortunately I haven't been paid to promote any islands, so I’ll just say my least favorite island. Kiboshima. I know it’s a barren wasteland now, but I must say, even before that, I’m much more of a fan of civilized islands like Aqua Belt than jungles teeming with overgrown lizards. Do you have any idea what it’s like to be sweaty when you have fur? It’s uncomfortable to say the least.”

Diavolo: “Ziavash? I know not who �you speak of. Though there is truth �to your statement that this mask �does carry an abundance of different identities. After all, everyone wears masks, it’s just that theirs are invisible and the names to their own persona’s they never know. I on the other hand am the maker of my own identities and the next name which I will harbor is your fathers. You can call me daddy or Yoshikage Kira”

I: “Secondly, your actions against the Marines have led to the loss of several officers' lives, raising concerns among the ranks. Do you have anything to say about these incidents or your plans for the future moving forwards?”

D: “As every wise strategist knows, always tell the world of your plans – especially your enemy. You all better be scared for I will enter an endless slumber and through my cosmic coffin whenever I am disturbed I will continue to rip some more ass… not fart or anything but rather rip my enemies afart – I mean apart!”

Thank �you for setting aside some time for this, Mr. �Machlaron, or do you prefer Sir Machlaron? �Sorry, I don’t think I’m quite up to date on �your status, but there have been rumors �around the office ever since your poster �first dropped!

Parcival: Yes, I'd be honored to be �interviewed, and I think Mr. Malcharion is �ideal but I wouldn't mind being called by my �first name. I would like to confirm that I, �indeed, am a scion of a royal family, and �there is nothing that can change that. My grandfather, King Sigismund I of Egeria named me Parcival Charles Maximilian Roy Augustus Julius Constantin Ignis-Egeria Malcharion. See? There is a reason why I settled with just Parcival.

I: “Well, let me get right into the real questions: You’re a part of Method, the fastest growing crew of this generation. What does it feel like to be one of the most wanted members?”

P: It's...complicated. For years, I had been trying to stay under radar before I decided that I was simply tired of hiding. It's beyond me how I ended up where I am right now but I can't say I regret it.

What exactly brought you together in the first place, and why did you feel the need to both be in charge? What was the dynamic in your crew like with two figures of authority at the helm? D: “It worked out better than we had expected. The reason why we were named Foundation is because our premise was to become the foundation for our future selves through the bond we cultivate. It was more so a group of evolution which had a pre-determined end. The day we all became strong enough to forge our own paths is the day we determined to be the end of us. It was a yin and yang relationship; I was the masculine while my counterpart was the feminine. Now that I lack a feminine, I could use a replacement, and you baby… you fit the role quite well”

I: “Ok then, well I’ll finish things off with one final question I’ve been asking all the other pirates. What’s your favorite vacation spot in Paradise?”

D: “I am sure you can tell that I am nothing more than a grim and miserable man who knows nothing more than violence right… after all isn’t that what a devil is? How on earth would a devil know of vacation when the whole world rejects its being.

I: “Survivors of Aqua Belt claim that Vidas, the commander of the so-called Revolutionaries slaughtered innocent citizens who had nothing to do with the conflict! Could you confirm that for us? Secondly what brought you and your swordsman crewmate, Aiden, to confront such a man?”

P: There is nothing I can say to cover up what happened here, and I can tell that the Revolutionaries and their sympathizers are probably thinking I am taking a side or making a mistake. Yes, Vidas and his forces were here for a mission. His objective, from what I've heard was to rescue his sister who was held as a prisoner here, at the time. However, since he couldn't locate her, he seemed to think violently attacking unarmed civilians was a good idea for his mission and those who he represented. Aiden and I opposed him not because it was not a show of force. Oh no. You should have seen me a few days ago. It was the right thing to do. Someone had to stop madness and stupidity Vidas had brought, and all of this wouldn't happen if not for Aqua Belt barbaric practice of slavery that led the Revolutionaries here in the first place.

I want to say that you, dear readers, don't have to choose those who simply preach answers, may it be liberty, order, or justice. Weight their words and measure their action, then you may choose to follow if that is what your heart desires. You are free to choose your own way and its consequences. And to rob the others of their ability to choose...the consequence might be more severe than you could possibly imagine.

Free Spirited and Fluffy, too Happy to �be a Pirate

Interviewer: “Good morning, Ms. Cynthia! I �must say, out of all the pirates, you are �definitely the most approachable! I’ll start us �off. The Mystic Pirates have seen quite the �lineup change recently, but you have stuck around. Would you mind telling us what being a pirate means to you?”

Cynthia: "I only really became a pirate because Merlin invited me but he has some stuff to take care of back home so I took over the Mystic Pirates for him. Really, all we ever wanted was to make a brighter future."

I: ”On the Aqua Belt, citizens reported being saved by your hands from a giant malfunctioning robot. What exactly provoked you into saving them when you could have just avoided getting involved at all?”

C: "Oh that? I only did what was right. This place may not have been the most inclusive to my kind but it would have felt wrong to just let the whole city get destroyed by that thing. I just

wanted to help save as many lives as I could!"

I: “We have been following your story closely for quite some time and have found it worthy of note that you seem to espouse the value Justice. Now, our close sources from within the World Government tell us that they may likely be looking to add a new member to the prestigious Seven Warlords. Will you be considering a decision to work with the allies of Justice?”

C: "I think I'll have to pass on that. My experiences with the marines haven't been the best. Maybe we just don't see eye to eye but everytime I run into them, they always seem to be up to something villainous. Like, even before I became a pirate, I was imprisoned and sent to be executed just because I was trying to save someone from being beaten up! I don't think I could support a group like that."

I: “One final question I’ve been asking all the other pirates, what was your favorite vacation spot in Paradise?”

C: "A vacation? Hmm, that's probably the hardest question yet! Kiboshima was a bit hot but there was this really beautiful cove that was pretty nice. It was hard to get to but totally worth it!"
