Amazon Announces Amazon Videos

Amazon videos is a social video community platform where content creators can self-publish short videos.

Top Content creators have already fallen in love with the platform and making tons of money.

Amazon recently announces Amazon Videos, a social video community platform that brings together the content creators and content consumers under one platform. It makes it easier for the content creators to self-publish short videos of length (15 seconds- 5 minutes), showcase their talent to the entire country, and earn a living with the help and support of their fans. With Amazon videos, people can unlimitedly watch the fun and entertaining videos created by different content creators. They can directly support their favorite creators if they want to via transferring the money through Amazon Pay. According to Amazon, the platform provides tons of advanced AI filters, video, and music editing tools, making it easier for creators to create quality content in no time. However, the creators can upload videos if they wish to make the video without the provided tools themselves.

According to Amazon, more than ten thousand Top content creators registered themselves on the platform in the very first hour of the launch. The mobile app is available on the Google Play Store and App Store. Users can download the app and register on the platform using existing Amazon account mail. With Amazon Videos, Amazon plans to acquire more than 2 million new customers by the end of 2021.

Decision

Content Creators Experience (Solution Sketch 1)

Rationale

  1. It is a P(0) feature.

  • It will enhance the content creator's experience.

  • The success of Amazon Videos depends on how many content creators can create quality content in less to no time. Advanced AI filters would help them develop good content without worrying about compromising quality.
