FAQs

How anonymous is the survey?

The survey was administered and analyzed by the Chapman Foundation for Caring Communities (CFCC) to help protect employee anonymity. Pitkin County does not have access to raw survey data and has only received summarized reporting shared through the dashboard and presentation materials.

Does leadership have department-level results?

At this time, Pitkin County has not received department-specific data. Results were only provided at the leadership-level view. Our current focus is understanding themes and opportunities at the organization-wide level.

How do we compare to other organizations?

Pitkin County is one of the larger organizations participating in this type of workplace care and engagement survey with the CFCC. Based on feedback from CFCC, organizations that publicly report engagement results often fall within the 65%–80% favorable range, and Pitkin County’s results are generally strong in comparison.

They also recommended focusing less on comparing ourselves to other organizations and more on comparing our results to ourselves over time. As we continue conducting pulse surveys throughout the year (planned 3x annually), we will build more meaningful trend data and better understand our progress over time.
