Dr. Elam is a board-certified dermatologist who serves as the VA Chief of Service and Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at Emory University. In addition, he is the Morehouse School of Medicine faculty advisor for the Dermatology Interest Group where he has helped foster interest in dermatology, especially among students underrepresented in medicine. Through Dr. Elam’s generous donation of textbooks, we have increased medical student exposure to dermatologic issues and continue working towards building the UIM dermatology pipeline.
