Journal Writing英語日記

We will begin to write a journal entry weekly.

我們將每週寫一篇日記條目。

The topics will be either ELA based or what is happening in our lives.

主題將是與ELA故事內容或與我們生活密切相關的主題。

We will illustrate our work with simple pictures.

Homework

Homework is mandatory. There are few allowable excuses for homework that is not turned in or incomplete. Spelling lists and weekly printouts will be posted on the class web-blog in case your child forgets what has to be done.

Homework not done will result in the following consequences:

  • The assignment needs to be finished.
  • Lost of recess for each assignment not completed.
  • A call will be made after 2-3 days of missed assignment.
  • If it continues to be a problem, a conference will be scheduled with parents, student and teacher.

Homework missed due to absence will usually be due the following day after returning to school. But of course, due to the number of days missed, workload, and the reason for the absence, the due date can sometimes be negotiable.
