CampusGigs:Monetize Your Skills, Right Now
The hyperlocal peer-to-peer freelance marketplace built by students, for students.
Built with:
React.js • Node.js • Tailwind v4 • MongoDB
The Problem: Fragmented & Untrusted
WhatsApp Groups
Messy feeds, no security, and ghosting. Finding someone reliable to edit a video or tutor you before finals is a nightmare.
Upwork & Fiverr
20–30% fees on small ₹1,000 gigs. These platforms are built for agencies and global outsourcing, not cash-strapped hostellers.
The Result:
Crores in lost student earning potential sitting in fragmented, unsafe channels.
.edu Verification
A high-trust, closed-loop community. Only verified students from your university can post, browse, or accept gigs. No randoms.
Razorpay Escrow
Funds are locked securely before work starts and released only upon delivery. Zero anxiety over unpaid work for freelancers.
Campus-Native Economy
Need a guitarist for the college fest? Or a quick bug fix? Built for the specific skills and timelines of how students actually work.

How It Works
Real-Time Micro-Gig Feed: Live posts—grab gigs the moment they drop between classes.
Verified Freelancer Profiles: Dynamic portfolios, transparent ratings, and a verified badge so you know who you're hiring.
Frictionless Acceptance: No endless DMs or haggling. Accept the terms and start working immediately.
The Gig Board & Service Directory
We built this to bank-grade standards. Featuring Bcrypt password hashing to salt and secure credentials, and Stateless JWT Auth ensuring scalable, secure access on every request.
Our backend employs active NoSQL Injection Guards to sanitize all Mongoose endpoints.
Coupled with Compound MongoDB Indexing and GZIP compression, we guarantee blazing-fast, secure queries even during finals week traffic spikes.
Auth & Data Protection
Database Integrity
Under the Hood: Enterprise Security
Admin Dashboard
God-Mode Moderation
A hidden panel allowing college admins to instantly ban bad actors and clear fake reviews, keeping the ecosystem clean and ethical.
Cascade Deletion
When an admin removes a user, our system atomically wipes all linked data (gigs, reviews, bids). Zero orphan records, total database hygiene.
By utilizing a highly automated, low-overhead tech stack, we can offer an unbeatable 8% platform fee. We additionally monetize via lightweight ₹100-₹250 featured premium gig placements for urgent tasks.
